Melts at rated temp, flows well
It's solder so there's not a lot to say. Weller is a well known brand in soldering for a reason and my 30 year old Weller soldering pencil still works like new to prove it. This weller solder was workable at a reasonable temp setting and melts and flows out well. I got the large 0.8mm size and its great for general stuff. If I had to do small electronics repair more often and especially ICs I'd probably have ordered the smaller diameter. But overall it works as expected. One thing I will mention is that the solder holds the curl on the roll well. Nothing worse that a roll that tends to come loose and you have loose wraps all over the roll while you're working. Pull out 6-8 inches of solder and a few wraps loosen up, but the rest stay tight, so its just slightly more convenient to use.

Good quality, easy to work with
Good general purpose solder. Lead free but I'm still getting decently shiny solder joints. Flux content makes tinning wires easy but also doesn't leave too much on PCBs. Flow is good and I use this at about 600 degrees with good results.I use the 0.8mm solder mostly on wiring and thick solder pads like for potentiometers and PCB mounted sockets. 100g isn't very much at this thickness, I'm almost through the entire spool after a couple weeks of hobbyist use. While this isn't my preferred solder thickness for most projects, I do tend to use it a lot when I need a higher solder content and it's been working well for me.

For lead free, it works great.
I've always preferred the standard lead-based solder, but the world moves on, and regrettably so do we. For lead free solder this works very well. It has a flux core, so you don't have to worry about needing separate flux. It would have been nice if they suggested a tip temperature. Clearly this requires higher heat than the lead solders do.
