They worked for me after cataract surgery!
I had cataract surgery. Didn't realize how bad it would be trying to see upclose. I have two computer screens at work. You cannot always get large fonts that you can see on both screens. These Bug Vision glasses took care of that. Only one problem. The arms tend to come off on every pair. Quick fix is to use brush on Gorilla Glue. Let it set overnite. Now, if you have a vanity problem; Get Over Yourself! They look like safety glasses, and are nowhere close to a fashion statement! BUT, I can see! At 65 this is what is important. I first saw them years ago on an "As Seen on TV" ad. I had tried ALL of the READERS. None of them worked on the two computer screens. Highly recommend.

Perfect
I ordered these for my Mom who is 94 and her vision is going …….she loves to work word puzzles, but now has to have the very large print ones and still has difficulty. So I ordered these glasses for her in hopes they would enable her to see better and they worked !

Good but beware
These are great and worth the price but I would not recommend these if you wear prescription glasses. Bought two, one for me amd SIL, and we only wore them for less than a minute to test them. The magnification was great but wearing them for that minute or less left us both with headaches and bad nausea.

Not for everyone UPDATE My rating has gone up
Before you have cataract surgery, ask your doctor for details about what your vision may be like post op. I knew that I would still need prescription glasses after surgery, but I neglected to ask the doctor what kind of temporary glasses I should have ready to use until both eyes got the surgery and were stabilized enough to get prescription glasses. These glasses don't give me clear vision unless I hold them about 12 inches away from my eyes. UPDATE The glasses work fine for reading books if I slide them far down my nose. And when I move closer than usual to my computer they work. When worn high on my nose, my eyes are at the very bottom of the lens. Maybe the glasses are designed to be slid up or down the nose to suit different prescriptions.
