Comfortable, easy to adjust for best viewing
These are much more comfortable than the cardboard and well worth paying just that little bit extra, although you could hardly accuse these as being expensive. They’re incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods with soft, PU padding where the headset meets your face. There’s an elastic strap, which goes over your head to keep it firmly in place – this is also quite comfortable.I didn’t find it possible to wear glasses with this, however you shouldn’t need to do this as there are adjustments for focus. As well as this, there are also adjustments that move the lenses so you can set them at the correct pupillary distance for you. Basically, it makes it easier to set up so that you can see a single image clearly. There’s a removable front panel which means the headset can also be used for mixed reality apps where they require the phone’s camera to not be obscured. There’s no button to click to act as a trigger/activation, which isn’t too unusual at this price point, but it does mean that you’ll need an extra controller (I believe they have one available) for use with some 3D games, usually ones where you need to shoot or select objects. It apparently takes phones up to 6 inch screen diameter – I have a 5.5 inch screen and it fits with room to spare. The phone is held securely in place and I had no problems with it either moving or falling out, even with some more severe head movements. With the phone in situ it’s still possible to plug in either a charger or headphones as the top and bottom edges of the phone aren’t blocked. If you found this review at all helpful it would be great if you’d please be kind enough to click the helpful button below. Many thanks

Lots of fun without costing a fortune.
I tentatively bought this because my 3d vision isn't perfect. Born with compromised vision in one eye. However, I was pleasantly surprised to be able to enjoy the virtual reality ability of the glasses and depending on what I watched some of the 3D. The biggest reason for buying these was actually to allow my Mum (aged 83) to relive her Spitfire experience which she had at Goodwood. Flying in and piloting a Spitfire, pretty amazing. We have only been able to enjoy this via youtube and it's not quite the same as feeling like you are still there. Basically these glasses worked a treat and she was literally wowed for half an hour as she relived the moments, fully immersed and free from distraction. She has alzheimers and dementia and we have shown her a few more videos with underwater and wildlife, moments that she will never experience in real life. So, to the product itself......it is very well made, sturdy in sensible hands, I imagine that it could break if thrown around. Very simple to use and extremely comfortable to wear. As you can see in pictures the padding is good. It sits firmly on the wearers head enabling them to move around. Not too heavy to wear either. As always packaged sparingly with instructions that were easy to understand in my opinion. For the price fantastic value for money and lots of fun.

great product few things you need to know
I love this but I started out without a controllerI installed google cardboard app and I have used this to watch 360 you tube videos and use the national geographic app which comes with cardboardI forgot to take the lens protectors off for a whileWhen watching videos I set them to autoplay , before I had the controller (a blue tooth mouse ) there was some taking the headset off to skip ads or go to next videoI cant get the picture totally perfect unless I also wear my reading glasses , I only do this when there is a lot of text on screen most of the time they are not neededwhen load a youtube using cardboard you can watch in full screen if you have no viewer or in immersive 3d if you click the glasses icon in the bottom rightThey are comfortable to wearI sit in my office chair so I can rotate and stay safe when usingI have a samsung a90 I turn the battery saver off when usingThere are load of other apps and games around I havent tried anyI went through about 4 methods of finding a controllerMouse with OTG cable works but even better a bluetooth mouse that does not need a dongle works bestI tried various cheap controllers but waste of money they either dont work , need a lot of extra software or fail , this suits me as I am only using you tube not gaming with itthe best videos asre the flying ones they can be really immersiveYou have to get the technique of focusing on the screen (choose a single object and focus on it ) its a technique that is learned in a few minuteswould deffo recommend - try and find the videp where you are flying round a Salvador Dhali painting very trippy .. I have seen moonbeams across .... you know the rest

No QR code so it's essentially useless.
The build quality is nice, the focus and lens width adjustment are good features, so is the removeable backplate to use your camera. It's a shame none of that matters because there's no QR code for this product so there's no way of using it with my phone (android). I've found a few QR codes online that look like they're for the same device but none are calibrated right and all require an action button which this device has. There's so much potential wasted by laziness/carelessness.You're better off with the flatpack cardboard headset, it's uncomfortable and the headband is crap but at least it has a QR code so you can actually use it unlike this.

A Wonderful Introduction To VR At A Very Affordable Price
3D VR Headset, TechRise 3D VR Glasses Virtual Reality Box with Adjustable Lens and Comfortable Strap For Samsung iPhone 4~6g inch Smartphones, 3D Movies and Games, letting everyone enjoy an immersive 3D experience I am reviewing this product which I received free of charge in order that I wrote an unbiased and true opinion on the product.Having dabbled with the idea of a VR Headset to try and see what the experience would be like I was originally going to purchase a cardboard version from another brand. I was very glad I waited and took up the offer of this plastic and leatherette VR headset as without doubt it must surely be more robust and much more comfortable to wear. The first thing I noticed when opening the package was how secure the headset was and there was no room for it to rattle around loosely which could have caused damage. The headset was secured by the focus adjusters into a groove in the internal packaging. I was also surprised to find that the front of the product was covered in a plastic protection and also that there were plastic protectors over the eye pieces inside the headset. The bonus of an alcohol wipe and cleaning cloth was very welcome. A small manual is also included. To be honest, considering the price of just £9.99, my expectations were already surpassed for the price it would cost.I wondered whether a £9.99 product would be secure enough to trust with my iPhone X 256GB which cost £1149 and if the small magnet would be strong enough to prevent my treasured phone falling out and smashing to pieces. I placed the phone in the headset over my bed and rotated it around like a gyroscope so that if the phone fell out it would not be damaged as the bedding would protect it. There was no need to worry and the phone is perfectly secured.Loading up some VR videos from the App store I tried various short films using the VR headset and was pleasantly surprised that it was better than I had expected for the price. The focus can be adjusted both by forward distance and also by pupil distance. The headband can also be adjusted but was already perfect for me so no adjustment was needed. The only thing I noticed was a very slight bleeding of outside light coming in around my nose area but with a bit of moving around the very comfortable leatherette facing soon seemed to negate this and was no longer an issue for me.The headset in no way prevents the comfortable wearing of ear bud headphones and with my own Beats X wireless headset I found the experience very pleasant indeed and imagine it could be worn comfortably for the maximum 2 hour period without a break. The only criticism which should be taken in the manner intended is that the picture is not crystal clear perfection. Perhaps I was expecting to see the full Super Retina clarity of my iPhone X but then you have to remember that between your phone and your eyes are two pieces of plastic. This plastic undoubtedly reduces the clarity and to be fair you cannot expect high end Optician Grade lenses to be in a product of such a fantastically cheap price. To summarise, this is a fabulous introduction to VR on a throwaway cost. Very comfortable, very good quality (for the price) and very, very enjoyable.Would I recommend it? Yes.Would I buy again? Yes.If you have not tried any of the budget VR Headsets, do yourself a favour and spend less than £10 and see what the hype is about! 3D VR Headset, TechRise 3D VR Glasses Virtual Reality Box with Adjustable Lens and Comfortable Strap For Samsung iPhone 4~6g inch Smartphones, 3D Movies and Games, letting everyone enjoy an immersive 3D experience
