The WAGU connectors are well known and utilized in the electronics industry. They are great and far superior to wire nuts. You see them everywhere and with good reason: these hold up with less chance of slippage and shorting. They take up less space and, as we techs age, are way easier to use than the old style wire nuts. A bit more expensive, but well worth it! If you haven't tried 'em, do yourself a favor and do so! Adaptable to a large range of wire gauges and available in various models. Love 'em!

These things are awesome! I never heard of them until a friend! It makes life so much easier when hanging a light or a fan or anything that requires a connector. You just pug in the main and then the connections. No twist connectors!! Highly recommend!!!

Easy to use with the wire strip gage on the side. Wires are clamped securely and the clear body allows visual inspection of the wire position. No need to hold wires together like when using wire nuts, each wire is secured individually. Clamp levers do raise slightly easily but the clamping mechasm is not released until more force is added. The small lever movement is like a pre travel before moving the clamp. These wire clamps are well made by an established manufacturer and reasonably priced for what they do.

20A, 300 volt for 12 to 24 gauge. They make electrical work easier. They replace twist connectors in most cases. I have used many in my home improvement projects and never had a failure. Note -- make sure when you dress the wires back into the electrical box that you don't inadvertently lift the connector tabs. In some cases it's a good idea to use electrical tape wrapped around the connector in crowded boxes. I recommend buying an assortment of 2, 3, and 5 way connectors. That covers almost all needs. Plus some inline connectors for extending short wires. Stick with WAGO brand, they are UL approved, and some other brands are not. WAGO also makes connectors for 10 gauge wire if necessary, but the 12-24 gauge connectors are best for most work.

These have made wiring up new lights and recepticals a breeze. Seem to make a solid connection and easy to use.

I wish I had know about these years ago. So much faster and easier than using wire nuts, and they take up much less space for a more secure connection.
