Crown of Blood and Ruin: The Broken Kingdoms, Book 3

I have thoroughly enjoyed the story of the main characters in this book and the two before it. If you enjoy a sweet romance with a dash of intrigue and secrets and war, this is the series for you.I have only one issue with these books. And it is a silly thing, but I could not reconcile what the book was saying with how the map was presented. Maybe it's just me, but some things seemed to be misplaced on the map, and I also think it would be cool to see some other named areas included on the map as they are introduced.In particular what made the map thing a real issue for me was *possible spoilers ahead, read with caution* when the characters were journeying from the mines back to Ruskig, and they had to travel a day out of the way behind the castle, I didn't understand how that made sense based on where the castle is on the map. And I also was confused about the distance between the Lysander mansion and the castle, because on the map, it looks very mushed together, but then the hidey hole alehouse where they hang out as the need arises is way far away from where I thought it would be. Much farther away than the castle just by looking at it, yet when they travel, it seems to be close to everything that it isn't close to on the map. I didnt take a star away for it, because it could just be me because I really enjoy the perspective a map adds to a book, but if the map ever gets changed, I'd love to see updates about that.

What an epic ending to a fantastic journey. I loved this series, the characters, the friendships, and the adventure. The characters and storyline are well flushed out.*There are spice scenes in this book. They aren't fade to black but they aren't vulgar or very detailed. They are mostly kissing and feelings.**There is an LGBTQ relationship in this story. I do not want anyone to read this and mark it down because they were unaware and aren't okay with it.

I love these characters. The stories move along fast. I enjoy the basic details that allow me to use my own imagination. Point me in the right direction and I’ll run away with it. I don’t like it when the authors hold my hand all the way through a story. These books were fun reads. Thanks.

Crown of Blood and Ruin by LJ Andrews “After today you’ll be scratched from the family sagas.” “Gods I hope so,”~~~~ I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. If you’re sleeping on this series. WAKE UP! Book 3, so far, is the best. Valen is still daddy, and the action was everything. Couldn’t and wouldn’t put this one down. Also the romance and the detailing for the world building, and situation description. For real, go read this Beauty and Beast retelling mixed with Viking style. I love it!

These books had me hooked! From the first book I loved the chemistry between Elise and Legion. Not gonna lie I was disappointed at how the first book ended but only because you had to keep reading to find out what happened next! And I sure did! Can't tell you how many times in the first 3 books I found myself bouncing with excitement about what was unfolding next. I don't feel as much of a draw to the next book but with how good these were I will definitely check the next one out. I hope I'm reeled in again.

Loves this book keeps you on your toes! Always something new happening to keep you reading. Definitely recommend reading this!

I’m enjoying the book and the series but there are a lot misspelled or wrong words (ex - has instead of as).

I strongly disliked these books at first; so confusing and all over the place with book one. Book two truly grabbed my attention with the world building and the characters and everything started making sense. Book three had me completely addicted and I cannot wait to see where the rest of these books lead.This book was beautifully rounded out, covered every plot hole and gave the revenge and happy endings that I yearned for. I laughed and even had goosebumps on multiple occasions while reading this. Definitely a recommended read!The romance side is very subtle, not a lot of smut scenes, however the devotion and love is awe inspiring and the driving force through this. These books are more fantasy than a romance novel, be aware, but ABSOLUTELY worth the read!

Wow! I was not expecting that! This book has just complete obliterated my mind! The emotional rollercoaster was unreal. I have read many books that have played with multiple emotions but parts of this book actually gave me chills - on a good way! I’m kinda sad that Elisa and Valen’s story is now over as they are hands down my favourite characters, however I’m also excited to know more about Kase! His story seems really mysterious and that has me hooked already!

Book 3 of a series and not to be read as a standalone. This is the end of Valen and Elise’s story but the ending opens up a new storyline with a new character to continue the storyline.This is a great fantasy series that I completed over 3 days, although predictable at times I found myself completely absorbed.

This whole series grabbed my attention and wouldn't let it go. I have devoured every word and lived every moment of their journey. Well writen and exciting plot definitely worth the read and staying up late.

Nun endlich der dritte Teil von Elise und Valen. Ich war einfach so begeistert bzw. bin es immer noch, dass ich das Buch wieder in einem Rutsch gelesen habe.Die Geschichte geht spannend weiter, und wir bekommen natürlich wieder sowohl Elise als auch Valen zu lesen. Das ist und bleibt nach wie vor spannend, denn so lernt man beide Gedankenwelten einfach super kennen. Aber auch die bisherigen Freunde sind wieder mit von der Partie und machen die Geschichte abwechslungsreich. Natürlich kommt in dem Buch der finale Showdown zugegen, jedoch mal nur für dieses Reich. Man merkt bereits, dass sich hier etwas großes anbahnt, und dass die Geschichte in dieser Welt noch längst nicht zu Ende gezählt sind.Elise muss sich jetzt, mehr denn je, in der neuen Welt zurecht finden und ihren Platz unter den ihrigen beweisen, aber das macht sie mit links. Ich fand sie super und sie wird mehr und mehr zu der Königin, welche das Land braucht. Und Valen, hach, der hat ja endlich eingesehen, dass er ohne seine Elise nicht kann - hat ja auch lang genug gedauert.Für mich ein würdiger Abschluss einer tollen Reihe, und ich freue mich auf das nächste Paar!

Highly recommend this series of your a big fan of acotar or tog it's just as well written and captivating. I'd even go so far in saying better then tog.
