this workbook doesn't come with an answer key for the exercises. actually the main textbook doesn't either.two emails have already been sent to the publisher who doesn't even care to respond. I refuse to support publishers who don't even value customers enough to at least provide a response to their inquiries.as a self study, this series is worthless and I am giving one stars for not explicitely saying that there isn't an answer key AND because the publisher cannot be bothered to answer emails.

Just as advertised. There are many exercises to practice the grammar points from the textbook.There are no answers included but the publisher responded very quickly and sent the answers in PDF form.

The book was very good in providing practice in relation to the main book.

My story of studying Japanese is a very long one. I started in 1992 when I lived in Katsushikaku. I have probably 25 Japanese study books. This is one of the best I have ever used. After all the work I did and finishing Genki I and II, I found this book to be challenging, but not out of my reach. It stretched me, but not to the breaking point. I enlisted my Japanese wife to be my teacher and had her grade my work. It takes me an hour to do the work and just 5 minutes for her to grade it. Other reviews mentioned that the solutions are not available and that may be an issue, but you are supposed to write about your own experience so the solutions couldn't possibly contemplate that. You can't learn to speak a language in isolation. You have to use it. So, although I acknowledge the criticism, I would limit it's relevance. BTW, check out Tokini Andy. He has a YouTube series on these books.
