This towel is the 3rd kind I've tried and it is a game changer! I have to use a towel over my mat every time because I sweat buckets in my power yoga practice. I've tried plain microfiber towels from Gaiam and then a towel with silicone grippers on the bottom, but both bunch up and don't always keep me from slipping, which is very distracting during a vinyasa flow. These Healthyoga towels were my final attempt before breaking down and buying a new mat completely.Pros: SUPER absorbent material, beautiful vibrant colors, corner pockets keep it from bunching up, and the amazing material doesn't let me slip (even without spraying the mar with water first!). I just finished a very challenging cardio yoga class and I was shocked at how much deeper I could get into poses and how much easier it was to transition through poses without slipping or smoothing bunched up fabric. I think I was wasting a lot of energy using other towels that weren't helping me grip. I also love the dotted lines at the top and bottom as guides for hands and feet, even though I'm a strong intermediate yogi, its nice to have.Cons: the only thing to complain about is that its not an exact fit for my mat. You can see the corners curling up a little bit. Honestly though I'm not mad about it given all the great attributes this towel has. I use a Manduka Pro mat and the dimensions are hard to buy accessories for anyway. The towel is about a half inch not wide enough. Maybe it'll stretch a little bit with use. I haven't washed the towel yet but I intend to lay it flat to dry so it doesn't potentially shrink in the dryer.I don't usually write reviews unless a product really blows me away and Heathyoga has made a product I have to rave about. I bought 2 and will probably get more so I always have a fresh one to use.Update 8/30/20: I still like these yoga mat towels, but it was disappointing to see that after a few uses, the color started to fade. These also started to lose their super grip and I'm sliding again unless I spray heavily with water before and during my practice. Definitely not optimal when I'm trying to stay in the zone. As for washing it, I've kept them on the delicate cycle and hang them to dry so they've never gone in the dryer. I think I'll wash them on regular and put them in the dryer next to see if that makes a difference. Maybe the oils from my sweat are not fully washed out on the delicate cycle and are causing me to slip? I hope its an easy fix to restore these towels to their original greatness.

Beautiful colors n pattern. Corner pockets if you want to use them lightweight to fold for traveling. Have ordered from company in oast. Happy with products

Towel works great, does not slip when wet. Backside is not printed which is ugly. Pattern is cool BUT the colors are NEON NOT muted like in the photos. Cameras/camera phones wont pick up that hot orange in photos, it makes it look like red. But the background is neon orange/red, not red, all colors are much more vibrant than the photos show.

Yoga towel works great and looks stylish! I haven't yet used my towel during a Hot yoga class but it has already provided me with increased grip when used while sweaty after a 2 mile run and in a regular yoga class. I didn't mist it with water either time and it definitely improved my grip in both situations.Is slightly longer than my mat so I just folded the back end underneath but there was no negative efffect on the product performance or my ability to grip / be stable.I also like the the dotted line and other designs help me check my alignment when in poses like downdog (hands are parallel not staggered) and in standing poses (how well my front heel is aligned with the middle of my back foot).There was no scratchey or negative sensation when I had my forehead on the towel for child's pose even on my sensitive skin and the surface feels quite smooth.My only very minor complaint would be it didn't come with a storage bag but leaving it on my mat I just rolled both up together and they still fit in my yoga bag. Just make sure you roll with the towel on the top/inside so the mat doesn't try and roll up wonky.My cat / yoga assistant Fluffy actually got to try it out before me and also approves its use.

Absorbs my sweat in barre class. I use it on wood flooring so I don’t slip. It sticks to the floor and also the rubber on the top gives traction to my barre socks. It is soft enough— and thick enough. I was concerned it would be thin and scrunch up under my feet— it does not! I am happy with this yoga mat. It does it’s job.

I really think this is a good towel. It's soft enough and keeps its place well. It's not very thick and won't become a sponge, but will hold some water when you soak it through with sweat.It's a little too skinny for my 74"x26" mat, which is a bummer. It will cover the mat fine but the corners won't keep it in place.I've not washed it many times so I don't know how it will hold up long term but the material feels quality.

It’s beautiful but very slippery for hot yoga. It comes with a spray bottle to wet it for grip. I’d prefer the mat to have grips on the bottom like another brand I bought.

Soft. Beautiful. They are unlined and can be hand washed easily. Feels like cotton. I use mine to shield me from the rough bristles of turf mat - now I’m the envy of my gym! Useful and most of all beautiful styles! I love doing yoga on mandalas, excellent for centering and pose positions. I have several now, after loving the first I came back for two more! The orange on purple brocade pattern really pops in person. The grey is a favorite, calming. The red magic carpet is so beautiful! I have three so far and may buy the blue flower next. I highly recommend this one above all others! Best.
