Coleman Cooler Replacement Food Tray Shelf Divider (58 & 82 Qt)

Although they market this item as being for the 58 or 82 quart models, it fits perfectly in my 54 quart steel belted cooler. Ron C. answered a question above about the size and suggested it should be 1/2" longer for fitment with a 54 quart cooler. Actually, not true, as the dimensions of the actual product are 12-5/8" x 12-7/8", so if you index the tray 90 degrees, the fit is perfect with the extra 1/4" front-to-back making all the difference. The only question is why Coleman doesn't market it as a 54/58/82 quart tray. Even the sticker on the back of the product only says 58/82. At least this issue is finally resolved as I've been looking for this for years. Coleman has indicated the tray for the 54 quart model has been discontinued, but apparently somebody smarter than those doing the cataloging (probably some clever old guy down deep in the design department) made sure it would work for all these models. My advice is... get this one before they discontinue it too. Let's face it... we were all disappointed to find the tray missing from the cooler in the first place. It just wasn't the same if it didn't have all the features of my dad's classic green cooler. At least Coleman came through in the end and fixed it, although they don't seem to know it...

As you can see the insert tray will not fit the 70 QT Coleman cooler on its own. I can hold it up with soda cans from the bottom and water bottles on one end but on it's own it will fall through.I will keep it because I plan on filling the cooler with ice and food items and it will stay up. When the ice melts....well that's another story and it's probably time to go home anyway...lol.I am not happy with the price for something that I have to adjust for use. The item itself is sturdy and I will place wrapped cold cuts, cheese, fruit, etc in it.

I use this in an Igloo cooler - could not find a replacement tray for that (just a bunch of hinges and latches that I don't need yet.) Like - description of this tray included complete dimensions, so I could measure my Igloo cooler and get an idea that this might fit. Yes it does, but measure twice before ordering if crossing makes or models. This is a large tray to keep the packaged foods out of the ice water - actually better than the original Igloo part.Hint - to find a lost part of anything, just buy a replacement and the lost item will soon turn up.

This does not fit the steel-belted 54 Coleman cooler it is too big there's a ledge down in the cooler that it is supposed to sit on it sits on the top of the cooler which you cannot close the cooler properly

When I was a kid, we had to lug this green steel belt around for my dad. Like 20 miles, up hill both ways and through snow to the spot we were gonna picnic, camp or what have you. I have amazing memories of that green cooler. Now I'm older and the style has changed a but from that cooler to my new steelbelt (red) but the one thing I wish it had was this tray. It's a separate purchase for a hefty priced cooler. Until this, where was I gonna put my airplane shots and cheese? Now I have a spot.

Very happy to have found this. I have a Coleman cooler that came without the tray that used to come with the coolers. Have been using it without the tray but it's very inconvenient. This tray fits perfectly and makes my cooler complete and convenient.

Kinda pricey for a plastic tray. Wish the depth of the tray was deeper to hold more or bulkier items.

About $17 for a piece of plastic is a bit too much. However, this is a hard to find item for your cooler. It not only fits Coleman coolers but also any cooler with an inside lip span of 13 inches. So it fit my new Vibe 75 cooler perfectly.

The product worked well although I wasn’t sure it would when I purchased it. I believe my cooler is a 52quart so it was a gamble. But previous reviews from other buyers said it would work. Also I think that it is severely over priced. It’s almost half the price of a new steel cooler. There has to be a cheaper version out there!!
