I make homemade bread fairly often. My previous mat was plastic and began to smell. It was never quite big enough. This mat is huge! I put a sprinkle of flour on it and knead my bread; by the time I've turned it a few times, all the flour is incorporated yet it doesn't stick! FYI: when first using it, put some paper towels inside where you roll it up so it doesn't stick to itself; the back side is a little tacky (good for not sliding on the countertop) until it gradually gets just enough flour to not stick to itself. I clean the topside with a damp paper towel, dry it off and roll it up. Love it!

I thought I would never like a rolling pin better than my marble one but this is the one. No sticking at all and much better control of the dough. I have a small dog treat business and roll a lot of dough. I'll be buying another as a backup. I didn't care about the mat but it came with the set and I tried it out. What a difference! Love them both.

I love the mat. The measurements on it really help. It's large and makes for easy clean up. The rolling pin is good. Eat to use and clean, but light. Would have been nice if it was a little heavier. The spatula isn't the best quality. After using it twice, it tore (as if someone took a knife and sliced the side of it).

Bought this set mostly for the rolling pin. Also because the price was right. I actually love the mat more than the rolling pin lolThe mat is also made of silicone, so it sticks to your counter and doesn’t slide around when you are trying to roll something.Love it!

I got the same one 2 years back and it was very thick and nice quality.The older one got cut with knife so ordered new one but very disappointed with my purchase.quality is degraded and its now not that thick material as pervious one. Would not recommend.

I became vegan recently and started making my own tortilla and naan bread. This combo is SO good. The mat has a large working space and I actually brought this set camping to make tortillas. It was so easy to pack up because all I had to do was roll it up. Cleaning it can be a little tricky since it's not a hard mat, but drying is amazing. I just shake it off like I would a kitchen towel and all the water just glides off so I don't have to worry about it taking up space on the dish rack after cleaning. Really good purchase.

I love that the pastry mat stays stuck to the counter! One must use flour on this, however, just like any other pastry mat and rolling pin. But that said, it works well and cleans up like a dream. I love making pies but hate that my former pastry mat would slide all over the counter as I was rolling out my pie crust... this one stays put and I love it!

NOT a silicone rolling pin! It is a rolling pin with a silicone sleeve! Not what I was looking for. I do like the silicone mat and spatula but those aren't the reason I bought this.
