Very helpful
Thanks to this I was finally able to extract valuable data from my old dead laptop, didn't think it will work ,but it worked like a champ . Now using my HDD as a portable storage device using this .

Very poor quality product
Battery was very poor ,I recommend don't use this battery fan any one this is only provided backup upto 1 hrs

Completely Useless - Doesn't Detect Any Hard Drives
I bought the Lapster USB 3.0 SATA Cable to connect my 2.5-inch SSDs and HDDs, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money. The cable failed to detect any hard drives, whether they were working or not. I tested it with multiple drives, including a perfectly functional SSD and an old HDD, but none of them showed up. The device simply doesn’t work as advertised. Save yourself the trouble and invest in a more reliable adapter. This one is not worth it.

Useful for using laptop hard disk externally
I had an old laptop harddisk which I wanted to use an external drive to store files, and this thing serves the purpose. My old drive has some mounting on it, which protects the drive from external condition, so I did not want to remove it, and without removing that I could not fit it into the case adapter. Hence, this item came to the rescue. It is just a simple connector cable, which connects laptop HDD/SSD to USB 3.0 of the laptop/desktop port, and it is very simple to use. Just connect and use. Read and Write speeds are normal as they are. It also features a LED indicator. Cable length is kind of short, but okay with it. It serves the purpose it was supposed to solve, and it is much recommended one.P.S: this is not for 3.5 inches desktop HDDs, only for 2.5 inches.

Working fine
So I received the product today , about packaging it was just inside a small polythene pouch, the product is good , I used my laptop HDD as external storage in my mobile , laptop and Android TV and it's working fine , I got around 40 mb data transfer speed , while using it on tv it just felt warmer on the plastic area .One more thingWhen I connect it on my phone through otg , while ejecting it or unmounting the HDD keep spinning, so when I remove it , it feels like the HDD got stopped suddenly will it damage my HDD ?
