Medication Carrying Case

PROS:I love that I can store, and label on the tops, all of hubby's multiple rx. All in one dark, secure place. Grab and go for travel, lock up to keep others out including the grands..labels on top of Rx bottles ends the constant search through multiple bottles every dose time. Large, sturdy case with manual wheel type combo on flip up style locks ( similar to the old type brief case locks on left and right of case. Attractive corrugated silver tone . Streamlines your meds into a neat looking storage case and not a counter top eyesore.CONS:Combination Numbers are hard to see on combo wheels. You May need magnifyer to see the wheel numbers, which are not clearly marked with clearly discernable paint or other medium. Lining up the combo numbers are kinda tricky and it's very touchy about the number line up. This case Does not light up at all( internal lights and lock illumination would be a great add on feature, also fingerprint recognition would be good too).SUGGESTIONS: make sure you use a 6 digit code that you will remember easily but no one else. Each locking side needs a 3 digit code. BE SURE to test your locks and codes BEFORE you lock in your meds. Do this at least twice.

Bought this to replace the excellent small size version of the "Lock Med" brand. The medium version of the same box model was no longer available at the time of purchasing this one, although I was later able to acquire a NOS (New old stock) example to compare. The build quality of this "medium" Medicine RX Safe brand is miles better than Lock Med's and comparable to the 2014 small version I had used before. Medicine RX Safe's product is better in everyway. Is it on the expensive side? I suppose yes, but you get what you pay for and then some.The black satin finish is a nice touch and change of pace from the typical aluminum finish comparable boxes have. No squeaky or misfitting hinges, sturdy carrying handles, the box closes and locks correctly, and even stays open when the top is set at a 45 degree angle or so further showing how well its built. Includes a secondary key lock mechanism/override which is neat, although the combination lock works on its own as a 1-step lock/unlock with the key lock slot left in the "open" position. So you don't have to go through a 2-step lock/unlock process as the product pictures might lead one to believe.Overall I highly recommend this box for those that need to keep CDS/narcotic RX's or medical marijuana locked up and secured... out of reach and access from teens and young adults that may reside in the same home. Also doubles as a nice small safe for smaller items kept under lock, or important documents like a passport.

This is the cutest box I’ve ever bought! It really is mini. I posted a bunch of pictures with size references to everyday items so anyone could get an idea of exactly how small and compact this box is. I put a bic lighter inside of it, and it fits perfectly with room to spare (obviously) it fits maybe 3 regular sized medicine bottles in it at once, and maybe two large med bottles at once, and two regular sized bottles and one large bottle at a time IF you are actually planning on using this for keeping your meds safe. I am not going to use mine for that purpose but it’s perfect for what I need it for. It’s so perfect infact I’ve already bought another one!The material outside and in is fantastic for everyday use, it doesn’t scratch easily and surprisingly the metal or steel (?) has held its shine a few weeks after purchase and heavy usage. The inside is soft velvet like material, I decorated the inside of my box with push pins and it’s held up really well.This is one of those “ I don’t need it, but I want it! Why? I’m not sure but I’ll figure out something to do with it” kind of purchases; IF it’s not a being used as a medical box. So happy with this one! Now I’ll be buying the black since I’ve already purchased another silver!UPDATE***The outside lock is smooth and doesn’t get jamed. The ONLY thing I’ve found mildly wrong with this box is that there is NO KEY. but the box is just small enough that that doesn’t make a difference in how the box looks/works.

I highly recommend that you DO NOT buy this item. It has 2 combination locks. The first few times, I was able to unlock, but noticed the right combo lock was loose...I am unble to unlock to take my Rx's...I spent $46.97...I purchased in March 2023, and in April of 2023, time ran out to return..(It is early May) I attemped to return this cheap, defective item. I was informed that I have to pay a $10.00 restocking fee? Unhappy that I spent that much on such a cheaply made item, then time spend to return and hassle with customer service ,and charged $10.00 to restock item that is defective and non-working...I had bought a meds lock box for half the price at grocery store Pharmacy..Should have stuck with the first one . Please don't make the same mistake...

This case is great but I almost had to send it back due to the case having been coded already! There was no red seal attachment & the case was locked. My hubby fiddled around with it & found the code & reset it!It does what I wanted it for & it’s easy to carry & transport. The liquid meds stay upright & don’t fall over during transport.

It works great for keeping marijuana locked up so the kids can't get into mom's stash. It is easy to unlock. It is a very sturdy little box, but it is portable at the same time.

It holds so much. I ordered the large and it holds large bottles and a lot of small bottles and pill holders and room to spare. I'm very happy with it.

This does the job but the whole locking mechanism is a bit cheap. I wear reader glasses and I can’t read the numbers even with my glasses on sometimes. Plus the dialing mechanism feels cheap.Does it do the job to protect my medication? Yes it does, but if somebody really wants to get into this box, they just need a powerful screwdriver and a hammer and they’ll have no problem getting into my medication.

I purchased the large size with two locks thinking it would be more secure and "safe". First of all, the box came locked with the instructions inside.Luckily a reviewer replied to my question on how to open it for the first time. Once it was open, I followed the instructions to set a new combo and tested it out...When I turn the 3rd number, the second one spins too and there's no way to stop it. The other lock doesn't work either, it's stuck locked whether I use the combo I set it to or the original 000 code!I would like to return this or at least get a refund. All my medicine is locked in this box!Update, I got a full refund from Amazon. PLEASE don't waste your money on this.

Works ok although I have to use the key, the number lock stopped working very quickly.
