I've been reading B.C. comics since I was first able to read. I had a huge collection of paperback books that was lost in a move. It was great fun to read some of those old comics again and to see how the comic changed over time. I'd still like to have my old collection but this was the next best thing. Certainly worth the price.

I read a lot of BC when I was a kid. I'm surprised at how well it stands up, 30 - 35 years later. This is a good collection. Other collections I've seen seem to have had been selected with an agenda of sorts -- e.g., to demonstrate that the comic was "smart" or politically savvy -- but this one has just been selected for humor and wit. Very enjoyable read. Caused me to order some more BC paperbacks.

I got this for my dad and he immediately started cracking up as he read the comics in this book. He then proceeded to purchase no less than 25 compilations of BC comic strips on ebay because he couldn't get enough! I've subsequently read it and I have to concur that the humor of BC is top notch.

I'm truly enjoying the sampling of B.C. comic strips in this book. It includes a taste of the strip for each decade since it's beginning. Time for a complete collection I think—start from the beginning and print all of the Johnny Hart years. Please!

I don't recall reading a couple of these strips - though I think I have a complete collection of the published works of Johnny Hart. This is excellent, and a fun trip down memory-lane. Only Johnny Hart could say a three sided wheel on a bicycle is an improvement over the four-sided wheel because it eliminates one bump!

Long time fan, great memories of searching the paper for B.C. every week! The lost comics are found!Quite happy to now have this great collection of history.

What we lack today are the smart comics, not afraid to engage in groaning puns, while poking fun at the human condition. Johnny Hart with BC and his collaboration on the Wizard of Id gave hours of relief to his readers. Well worth the time and money.

Bought as a present, was rewarded with constant laughter from the other end of the settee.

Le migliori strisce di B.C. + una interessante prefazione. Proprio quello che mi serviva per introdurre mia figlia alle esilaranti strisce di Hart. Un libro da tenere a portata di mano quando servono cinque minuti di pura follia.

Si tratta di un classico del fumetto che, nel tempo, non ha perso nulla della sua comicità. Il prezzo è un po' elevato, ma la soddisfazione di poter rileggere queste strisce dopo tanti anni è stata grandissima.
