Thick, heavy, long rod with plenty of sparks. This is the best rod I've used to this date, I think the combination of the ferro rods softness and the flint is what makes this fantastic. I used the striker on my other rods and a large difference when using other strikers or the back of my knife. It comes with a wick which is waterproof and the fire control system designed is simple and extremely effective. Something like this would be 50 to 100 bucks, but for 10, this kit comes with a second ferro rod. Forget about buying replacement rod, this kit is so cheap, just buy it again if you ever use it all.

4.5/5 stars. Easy to strike and big flame. The handles could be a little better but for the value it’s so worth it still. You get two ferro rods with a stricter each with para cord handles which is nice for extra emergency cordage. Also comes with a mini bellow for the fire along with a fat chunk of hemp wick, can’t be beat for 9$

Everything in the package work great! Ferro rods soft enough and very easy to scratch. Lots of sparks with little effort. One of the best ferro rods I’ve tried to date. Worth every penny! Highly recommended.

Loved the quality. Striker not great buy it was an easy fix. Used my mora light my fire or carbide sharpener and it was 4th of July. Started a fire within a few sparks.

Two pack at this price? Luv this rod the thickness makes it easy to handle, long lanyard keeps everything together and the bonus wick doesn't hurt. And for the newbies "Instructions ".

Super happy with this purchase. Works as intended and has been great to have in my pack on hikes and wile camping this season. Planning to purchase the other versions from this brand to compare.Also a plus that’s packaging is safe to burn and use to build a fire rather than let it go to waste.
