Wright Products V777ST Replacement Knob Latch Strike, Aluminum

This is my 3rd Striker, in 44 years,... I wore the other 2 out.

It works

cheap screws! while screwing into soft trim wood the screw head snapped off. I even pre-drilled the hole. And then had to pry out the broken screw.

Great product

This worked perfectly as a replacement for my old screen door strike plate that broke.

Note the color is Aluminum. I purchased thinking it was white based off the picture alone. Item arrived quick and installed fine, knocking two stars off for misleading photo and sparse description. Not worth the hassle in returning.

WORK WELL

I used this off-label as a catch for a picket fence gate. I've found no flaws in it's design or construction so the springs haven't gotten twisted around the pin as some do. And important to me, no rust or corrosion in a salt air environment.
