Plugs to plug holes bees make once they are gone

I purchased these to plug holes the carpenter bees had bored in the wood on our screen room. I find them to work very well.

I ordered the carpenter bee corks to avoid spraying to kill them. I have a bird nest nearby and didn't want to poison the birds.

We used these corks on some carpenter bee holes in our fence. The bees cannot get in or out. We had massive amounts of bees last year and this year since using these we haven’t seen but two or three.

We put the cork plugs in the existing holes, had a professional company spray and the bees still came and chewed the cork plugs out of the holes. So it didn't work, unfortunately.

These items are just plain old corks - no more valuable than using any other cork except that they may be sized to fit better into carpenter bee holes. They are about the same size as the little corks you might put into a child's cork gun toy. So you may be able to find these at a lower price.Even when using them on the bee holds, it quickly became apparent that they not only don't get rid of the bees, the bees just find another place to create a hole. So you end up with even more carpenter bee holes. I even stuck one of these in a hole after the bee went in - within about 30 minutes he had eaten the cork and was back out.At a minimum, you want to combine these with some bee killer to get rid of the pests. More realistically, you can to patch the hole with something more permanent and that will discourage bees from returning to the area.Overall, I'm not sure of the value of these corks for anything.

These fit the holes left by the carpenter bees perfectly. Great buy.

fit the carpenter bee holes. just cut off even with the wood. there is way many corks then i hope to use
