Good magnets, NOT FOR AUTO HAIL SCOPING!! HAHA
I was hoping to find coin sized magnets I could use on a car. First, cars are aluminum and fiberglass a lot nowadays, and second, the magnet is exposed at the back and could scratch the paint. Good refrigerator or office type magnets. Do not work for auto hail scoping... lol

STRONG magnets! Mediocre glue...
These are strong magnets! They definitely hold better than typical fridge magnets - can grip through many sheets of paper. However, the *glue* that holds the decorative plastic covers on is not always as strong as the magnets -- but the magnets are still usable without the covers. I just bought a second pack of these, because I care most about functionality and price, and in those two regards, these really shine.

A very good magnet for school, work, and home
These are pretty good magnets. These magnets are strong for generic magnets, have an excellent price point, and there are a lot of them. Not only that, but they come in several different sizes, which I have found useful at home and around the classroom. You will be surprised at how quickly you find a use for almost every magnet in the set. The magnets are rubbed fairly smooth, so if you drag them across a surface they don't seem to leave any obvious scratches or marks. My only caveat is that the plastic backings are not as well attached on every piece as they should be. I have had a couple of pieces have their backing pop off when I pulled on them. This is a testament to how strong the magnets are though, and with a spot of super glue they were back in working order.Overall, if you are looking for a bunch of general use magnets at school, work, or home, these are a great choice. I would certainly buy them again.

The Strongest Fridge Magnets I've Ever Had
Hands down, the strongest fridge magnets I've ever had and they are ready to grab with the little lip on the edge. Will purchase again if I need more

Basic, but decent magnets
These work as described. They're not super strong, but decent. I really wouldn't consider them "heavy duty" at all. So it depends on what you're looking for. These are just your avg. magnet. We bought a couple different sets/types of magnets, mainly to hold Christmas cards with photos on the refrigerator (we get a LOT of them). These magnets hold them no problem, but in relative terms they are a bit bulky and far less strong than other options. I ended up buying magnets that were half the diameter and depth (almost tiny) and yet had 2-3 times the magnetic power. They're so small you don't even notice them on the refrigerator. I don't recall the name off-hand, but I've since bought them a couple times. They're a type if nickel or something, little silver disks. Even ones as small as a 1/4 or 1/2 inch in diameter and 3 millimeters thick will have a LOT of magnetic power. This way when you look at the fridge you see a bunch of pictures and don't notice the magnets. Do some research on Amazon and you'll find them.---------UPDATE--------Someone asked if I could find the magnets that I like. They were made of Neodymium Iron Boron and plated with Nickel. They are considered "rare earth" magnets, made by Magcredible. They're just amazing. Don't buy them too big, they're quite strong! Below is a url, but I don't know it Amazon allows putting in urls.http://www.amazon.com/MAGCREDIBLE®-Magnets-Rare-Earth-Package/dp/100100003X

Superior Magnets!
I just received my magnets today and already have replaced many of my old magnets with them. They are super strong and hold photos on my fridge much better than any magnet I have. Unfortunately, I have ceramic tile flooring, so when things fall, they usually break. (Very unforgiving, these tiles!) I have lost several magnets this way, but I really believe these will not break. They may separate, but will be easy to glue together, I am sure. One thing I really love is that the back of the magnet is as large as the front. I have several old ones that look as big as a silver dollar. But turn them over, and the magnet surface on the back is smaller than the smallest of these new magnets. I don't want something that is all picture and no function. A magnet should serve its purpose, and I know already know that these do. I love them!

Strong, colorful, and work!
My second order. Initially, I wanted just hobby magnets for several projects. these popped up on my screen and in itially I thought no because they had these colored plastic caps But i noticed the word strong. I decided to try them. They are great. First, they actually keep things up on my refrigerator or office board. I have these tiny dolls I make for refrigerator magnets. I glue them onto a colorful magnetic top and they STICK with some power. I also glued a hobby magnet (also strong)to front of my dishwasher...red magnet on it means "dirty dishe" green means "clean". So when I start my dishwasher I put the green magnet on. Then nobody adds dirty to a clean set! A bit pricey but you get what you pay for here. Oh, I have industrial metal cupboards in my garage/studio anf these attach to them and I now have endless surface for notes, etc.

Unbeatable strength @ school
The media could not be loaded. I'm so glad I ordered these! Reviews range greatly on magnets. You can see the strength of pull from these on my video. One of the smallest ones tacks up a card securely. As a couple others mentioned, there is a residue on the magnet side. So, before using them I rubbed each magnet really well on a paper towel. It seemed to get rid of it.
