Culinare Naturals Sieve, Sustainable Bamboo/Stainless Steel, 33 cm x 16 cm, Kitchen Food Strainer Utensil/Tool, Fine Mesh Metal, Not Dishwasher Safe

This is a wooden handle sieve that I have been using and it is brilliant for sifting icing sugar.The metal mesh quite rigid, although if squashed it will go out of shape. There is a sturdy metal ring that the mesh is attached to and this provides more of a sturdy structure to the sieve.I have only been using this for sifting icing sugar as the size of it does limit its use. It is what would call a medium size sieve and the next size up would be better for larger quantities. I don't wash this after use, instead I make sure I give it a tap to make sure the sugar is out.I do like this and it is a nice sieve, perfect for what I need it for and I would happily recommend it.

This is great quality item but the sieve is smaller in diameter than our old one so for £10 probably over priced even though it is good quality.

This Culinaire Naturals Sieve exudes quality - both the handle and the metalwork are of high quality. The mesh of the sieve is ideal for most things including, sauces and batters plus icing sugar dusting and I like the hanging loop plus there's a hole in the chunky handle for a hook or loop. This is an item that is handwash only rather than in the dishwasher but that's to be expected.This is clearly a well-made product that should last and that has reasonable environmental credentials given the use of bamboo for the handle etc. The packaging by the manufacturer is minimal, although I think they should avoid the plastic ties that hold the sieve to its product card - any other packaging is that which is added by the seller for transit. Overall, a good product.

Using this at the weekend sifting icing sugar this suddenly broke off at the weld of the handle, as you can see by the photo’s attached. Very disappointed with the quality of this as it wasn’t the cheapest sieve Amazon have on their website.

The sieve itself feels really premium. The wood handle is very well weighted with a solid feel to it and the rest of the metal construction is up to the mark. Unlike common large sieves, the mesh with this one is very fine and I really appreciate that. The all-metal construction of the sieve part means I can use it for deep frying as well.A 5-star product but I've removed a star for how wasteful the shipping packaging was. It's shipped in this huge box where a box a third of the current one's size would've sufficed.

My last sieve broke, Just like all the other ones i owned, With the mesh coming away at the seam of the handle. This is a smaller version of what i would usually use. I would say mid-sized, But it seems to be much stronger and built to last.It's quite durable and can handle heavy-duty batch cooking and delicate baking without any issues with coming apart. The stainless steel and bamboo is a good combination to ensure that it's something that will last a long time without coming apart.

A nice enough sieve. Not huge, but big enough for most home baking projects and small enough to fit into a drawer. Nicely made and quality seems fine. Not too much more to say.

It’s smaller than I expected about 33 cm, but a good quality, well made.Handy to have.I would definitely get a second one if I need an another one.I would recommend it.
