Prime-Line J 4647 1 In., Cast Brass, Brushed Chrome, Wall Stop with Convex Bumper (Single Pack)

This is a perfect choice if you want a small, unobtrusive "bumper". It's actually a beautiful little stop with a bright polished chrome finish. It has a solid brass mounting plate that screws to the wall with one small screw, then the bumper "case" screws onto the base. It's a simple, functional, well-executed design. It is small, so it might not be well-suited for a high-traffic or "aggressively" opened door location... It could be punched/pushed through the wall with a hard shot. I used it on a wainscot wall (so it is screwed into wood trim) in a small half-bath as a door bumper/stop to prevent wall damage. I placed it at handle height, and it is perfect. It is very high quality and very small (about the diameter of a quarter).

This item is definitely not Quarter in size. More like a dime.But I got it for free because Home Depot charged $2.97 so when Amazon asked why I wanted to return it I messaged why and that HD had it for a lot less. They said to keep it and refunded what I paid.Very well made and inconspicuous. I would but it again but not from Amazon.

My first thought was "way too small" however once placed on the wall it stops the door precisely at the point of contact. It is small, and very effective.

Nice appearance. Easy to install. Very compact, but I do wish it was 1/4" deeper and wider to give me more confidence in it. Being so small, I'm worried about it punching thru the drywall if the door gets slammed open, or the rubber bumper having so low a profile that the door knob would hit the metal portion of the doorstop. But so far so good.

Very small, I didn’t pay close attention to dimensions listed but beautifully made from machined brass with a nice polished chrome finish. A good match for other fittings in my bathroom. If carefully placed it’s very effective, case is tough and rubber bumper is resilient and durable. If you can mount it to make good contact with door handle it will work great and is less obtrusive on your wall. I’m happy with it!

More proof Americans can't handle the metrics system. I expected this to be the same 2.5 INCH stop as one I have. It is CENTIMETERS. In fairness the package says that and I missed it. It looks identical to my larger one. This one is so small it is more like a toy or dollhouse item. While it is sturdy it's much too smal for effective use.

This is a very small bumper. When I was looking and reading about it, i did not realize it was this small. 1 inch. I didn't read the details thoroughly. I was thinking it was much larger. So, when it arrived and I took it out of the box and looked at the package, I laughed. I thought. That thing is tiny.I bought to use at church on a wall for a door. I put it up, and it works perfectly. The small size actually is a plus as it is not as noticeable as a much larger one. Very happy with the size and how it looks. You just need to make sure you have it positioned correctly.

We needed a bumper style wall stop for my door handle in a bathroom... but we were hoping to avoid the "commercial style" one that you can buy at an home improvement store. We tried one of the double-sided sticky tape ones, but it fell off the wall within a couple moths (and it looked cheap and tacky). Saw this little thing and thought we'd give it a try. It's an all metal design (brass base with the outer shell) and the little rubber ball in the middle. Super simple install - and since we went directly through the sheetrock into a wood stud - we opted not to put the extra pin in.It's perfect for our needs - and definitely priced right!

They’re extremely small. Smaller than I imagined BUT they do the job very well. Has great bounce back when a door is slammed into a wall. I recommend these.

Well made lovely design just what I needed

These are stylish and pleasant to look at, however they are also small and don't detract from the aesthetic of your wall. I thought that something so small would not work very well to prevent damage to walls, I was wrong. Now, I would not buy anything else. Everything else is larger and unattractive in comparison. Last thing I want to do is screw something large and ugly to my wall.
