4 Pack Caster Wheels Swivel Plate Casters On Black Polyurethane Wheels (2 inch Plate)

These little 2 inch polyurethane wheels are rated a whopping 300 lbs each. I have installed them on three different weight training pieces of equipment with great success and satisfaction.First set of 4 went on a Weight Plate Rack by CAP Barbell CAP Barbell Plate Rack, 1", Black that has a weight capacity of 300 lbs, so a set of 4 wheels will probably last many years at least. The rack typically has between 100 to 280 lbs of weights on it and even on a thin rug, the rack is easily rolled around to make it easy to pull out when in use then pushed back out of the way when done. They roll smooth on the wheels ball bearings and swivel on the caster ball bearings without hang-ups. This was perfect because who wants to drag around nearly 300 lbs of weights just to run the vac or put the rack away in a closet?So pleased with the first set, a second set was ordered for a CAP Barbell Dumbbell/Utility weight rack CAP Barbell 24" Utility Rack for Dumbbells, Medicine Balls and Kettlebells. This rack has 1.5" wide legs and the wheels have a 2 inch wide mounting plate, so they were mounted at a 45* and two corners bend up. This results in two screws entering from bottom, and two from the sides (see the red casters in the pictures). This rack also handles 300 lbs so these wheels will probably never wear out. Again, the rack is very easy to roll in and out of the closet, stays stable, and can be rolled right up to the weight bench where they are needed.Again, being pleased with the results, another set was installed on a folding weight/press bench. The bench itself only weighs about 40 lbs or so, but it is awkward to carry around and store in the closet. A lower rated wheel could have been used, but the bench will have to support my weight (200 lbs) plus the weight of the barbell I'm bench pressing (about 40 lbs to as much as 80 lbs) and at the price of these casters, it was a no brainer to use them. I was concerned about stability of the rack with casters under it, but I can tell no difference using the bench before or after installing the caster wheels.All in all these wheels are making a collection of weights and training equipment very easy to manage. One day guests were staying in the room that is usually used for exercise, so all three racks were rolled down a long hall to the master bedroom for a few days. Made that sooooo easy. Imagine having to unload all the weights and dumbbells from the racks, carry it all down the hall trip after trip and then re-load the racks with the weights.Although the wheels have a rating of 300 lbs each, I am a little skeptical that they would actually have a long lifespan when loaded to their max. But otherwise, they appear to be well constructed. My only criticism is the 2x2 inch mounting plate could be a tad thicker gauge steel. Also worth noting is that the axle for the wheel uses a Ny-lock nut to secure it. On two of the sets of four casters, the axle was very tight so the wheels did not move easily. Remedy was to just loosen the nylock nut 1/2 turn. The third set were too loose, so the nut was tightened. Being a Nylock nut, it will stay where its set.In these applications, my biggest concern was stability of heavily loaded racks and the bench. But I find no stability issues, so I can strongly recommend them for this application.

I purchased these to replace a much less expensive set that I purchased last year for a set of 18" subwoofers that my band uses. The other casters just rolled fine, but the brakes were almost impossible to release without using a pair of plyers.These casters are a HUGE improvement! They roll well and the locking mechanism is absolutely wonderful. When the wheels are locked they stop the wheel from turning as well as holding the direction of the wheel in place. Most importantly, for me, is that they lock and unlock effortlessly!I have no problem recommending these casters to anyone that might be looking for a good, dependable, locking caster.

I replaced 4 wheels with these on a wooden forniture with a 65” tv and a few other items , total weight (more than 200 pounds), and it moves smoothly.

Used these to upgrade existing, non-locking casters (see pic) on a Harbor Freight poly cart. Had to make some spacers so the locking mechanism didn’t hit the bottom of the cart, but it ended up working great. The upgraded casters hold more weight, are smooth, and hold the cart in place well.

Easy to install. Roll easily on tile floors.

We’ll made sturdy swivel casters. Rubber wheel, spins well. I put these on kids crafting table legs to add about 3” in height. Table rolls really easy, these are not locking but my tables on carpet so I didn’t really need the locking ones. Came well packed in box and shipped in bag.

I cannot say enough positive things about this caster. It is exceptionally well made, the wheel rolls very smoothly and the brake locks solid. The spring-back from the locking mechanism can be pretty vicious and I caught my finger the first time, however, you should not be using your fingers to release the brake in any event, just be careful if you do. I am using this in a theater setting for moving sets around and they work extremely well and the price is great when you need a good quality caster but you are on a budget. Highly recommended.

These came as was promised. We were replacing some we bought for a moving kitchen island (at a big box store). The old ones never worked well, sticking in one position and making it near impossible to push around, though the weight was well under the stated limits. We were nervous ordering them without the ability to easily return them. After having on the island for several months, we can say they are wonderful. Our island is 3 1/2' x 1 1/2' and holds liquor bottles and coffee supplies and is topped with granite - fairly heavy. These casters move so easily, switching directions with little effort. They lock in place when needed and look great. We couldn't be happier!
