Excellent product and good quality

I actually very much like this holder overall, very easy to use and actually fit on the CD base I already had which actually holds it tight. However it doesn't hold the phone very tight and I hit a bump the other day which sent my phone flying into the back seat. And as a result one of the arms falls off very easily now. It also doesn't sit evenly anymore. I know that's hard to tell from the picture but the left arm at the very bottom if you push too hard when you put it on it pops right off. The only thing that holds it on is a tiny little plastic clip on the inside of the adjustable arm and as soon as that has worn out a little bit the arm just slides right off if you try to adjust it at all. Overall pretty happy but I bought the thing in February, of this year, and now I'm having to look for a new phone holder. I just wish to God somebody would make one that holds the z-fold in its case, a case that has a large hinge protector I would think somebody could make a very similar Style with a Groove down the middle that would hold the phone in its case tightly. Yet I can't seem to find anything like that at all. You've lost two stars because of this flimsiness. Otherwise it easily would have been five stars for me. Honestly I don't think I'd recommend it at this point.

I was skeptical, but a little desperate, when I ordered it but have been pleasantly surprised with the build quality, ease of installation, and stability afforded my giant phone. I bought this to put in my 1998 Mercedes SL500 because it has no infotainment system and I want to have access to modern navigation aids. Installation in the center-left vent was straightforward and quick. The metal construction is sturdy and certainly stronger than the plastic vent it's installed in. One problem with vent-mounts is that, at least in the winter, you're blowing hot air right onto the back of your phone where the thermally-sensitive lithium battery is. The Fold 4 completely blocks that vent so while it's getting warm, you aren't. Other cars may not have that issue.The gripper arms have no trouble securing my phone, in its Samsung case w/SPen holder attached, and it's easy to slide the phone in and out of the mount. There are other mounts out there with Qi charging pads built in, but they won't charge through most aftermarket cases, and you can't have the SPen attached. I charge in that car with a USB-C cable, which is totally compatible with this mount.FYI, the ball joint is the same standard size as the popular RAM mounts for motorcycles/boats/etc so I was able to test-fit this easily to my BMW R1200CLC although I do not think it's secure enough for 2-wheel riding. All-in-all, I think this mount is a very good value, considering the all-metal construction, ease of installation and use, and the cost. It would have been a 5 star review but I'd have liked to have a detachable shield to deflect the air coming out of the vent.

The quality of the product is very nice, unfortunately when I place my z fold 4 in it (unfolded) it tilts all the way down to the floor and the hands of the holder will not stay over the phone. I even tried it on my work iphone and the hand clamps won't stay over the screen.Update...so I didn't realize i had to push the arms down (readjust them) once i set the phone in the holder. I was under the assumption that it would conform to the phone automatically to grip it. I like the product and the concept. Just wish it would adjust automatically but it's not a deal breaker. I'll be keeping it and posting a video of what I mean!

To cut to the chase if you use a Zfold this is a very good product. Extremely well built, lots of metal, and very innovative engineering.I didn't like it at first. But after taking g a few minutes set it up I find it to work really well. And allows me to use my phone folded closes or open.The reasons i didn't like it at first was that it didn't clamp onto the sides of the phone tightly. It relies on precise placement of rubber edges which may not align well if you have a case on. This is something they could fix easily by offering a variety of rubber ends in different lengths. Another useful add would be some sort of spacer for the many that have added a holder for the pen.But no e of these are huge issues. So far it works really well and is among the best holders I have used. Certainly tje engineering is innovative and functional for a u ique phone.
