Sorry to shout, but this is NOT a cotton scarf. I just took this out of the package. It's beautiful, it's soft, it's enormous, and it's even reasonably well made for the price. But it is NOT cotton, as the label clearly shows. The label on the package matches the description in this listing.So no, I'm not giving them three stars because it's a pretty good scarf for the price. I'm giving them one star because they lied. Polyester makes my long hair stand up and stick to my face. That's the reason I attempted to purchase a COTTON SCARF. So now I have to decide if it's worth my time to return a $9 scarf, or whether to donate it to Goodwill.

This is a nice, lightweight scarf, particularly for the price. The fabric is light and breathable, without feeling cheap. The weave is lose enough that the scarf is sheer, but not so lose that it sangs easily. (I've attached images, and you can see the keys of my keyboard through the fabric.)I certainly wouldn't wear this as a winter scarf during harsh weather, but it's great for cooler weather and doesn't feel to heavy to wear on warmer days.I'm happy with the color - this was described as a dark blue, but it matches that image, which (to me) is a beautiful, rich royal or cobalt blue. It wraps and fluffs nicely to appear full.I haven't had to wash this yet, but when I do I intend to handwash with a detergent made for delicates (such as Woolite), and lay flat to dry.I would purchase this again in a different color, or even a print.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this scarf with the intentions of wearing it as a head wrap while on vacation in Cancun. Very affordable which is always a plus!I got the shade “Star Black” which is basically a plain black with glitter through out. Worked perfectly!Gave my swim outfit a light touch of sparkle and a boho chic vibe without making my head too hot.The material is VERY thin and lightweight so you want to handle this with care, especially if you have longer/sharp nails or are just rough in general lolIt’s large enough to be used as a light shawl or scarf during the fall which is nice.I included a video of the material because pictures didn’t do it justice…I really loved the sparkly bits! Definitely would repurchase.

Loved this scarf. Survived windy and rainy trip in Europe only to catch it my jacket zipper once I got home. Plan on buying another to replace it. Good for the price and can change how you wear it for light coverage or to really bundle up. Washed in washer well, hung dry. Only thing is it smelled terrible when I first got it but one wash took care of it.

I was pleasantly surprised with this scarf actually. I had one for so many years that has traveled around the world with me. Somehow it got lost, never to return either in the car, home or elsewhere, and I was distraught. I am very picky and I wanted a thin, lightweight scarf without bulk or heft or added heat. An all-season one. This was perfect. Not too gauzy, not too thin. Great length so I can wrap around or tie a loop from front. And again, lightweight so I can take on travels or keep in bag or car. Great for plane, too. Has a good width which can be used like a light shawl. I probably will order another one. Gets softer with more washing on normal laundry cycle. I will be taking on several trips this year and elsewhere.

I had been looking for a lighter weight black scarf to wear indoors since my work is always chilly. I searched locally and all over Amazon before deciding on this one. Since it was so inexpensive, I decided to take the chance that I wouldn't like it. It arrived and smelled bad, like musty and chemicals mixed together. YUCK! I put it in a lingerie bag and washed it with my regular clothes on a regular wash cycle. I even dried it on low for a few minutes, then hung it to dry. The smell came out and I was able to wear it as I wanted. Luckily there weren't any snags and it didn't stretch after washing/drying. Lightweight, gauze material, semi sheer, no fringe (which is hard to find) and great for spring time or just when your work is cold. I wouldn't consider it a "warm" scarf for winter or when you really need warmth. It was also long enough that I was able to wrap it around 3 times. Great buy.

I bought this scarf to work as a face covering for Covid 19 because I'm too claustrophobic to wear a traditional mask and, being from the midwest originally, I better tolerate a scarf wrapped around my face.This is a sheer voile made of POLYESTER (right on the label -- it is NOT cotton) which folds up nicely to wear as a scarf -- though as a shoulder covering shawl such as for a church wedding I think this works too.It is just about the right length to wrap from front of face, around the head, and back to tie in front and so fulfills its intended function.I have been very gentle with this scarf and overall I like it. Except for one point: when I removed it from my handwash basin after a very gentle rinse cycle I found that there was ALREADY a run across it such as you might find in pantyhose that gets a small snag. This happened after being more gentle than normal with the scarf.It is NOT durable -- at all -- if it cannot tolerate this much handling.I want more of these, but after getting that run on a light hand washing with gentle soap, I am not sure it would hold up long term.
