This works but the plastic is too fat to fit next to the power plug on a Microost surface book, so you cant charge with this connected. If it had included a tiny extension, narrowed the plastic, or lengthened the metal connector it would be perfect.

This is Really small as described. Audio and Video perfectly worked. But At the first use only, when i tried to unplug HDMI it's cover came out.It's working without any problem. So still unsure whether I need to use this or return it.Overall I liked it for it's price. Easy to carry. If the Build quality was good, I would have given 5 Star

Worked for a few weeks until the part that plugs in to the computer came loose. Could wiggle it around to get it to work for about a day and then it just stopped working all together.

This is perfect for traveling. We have a retractable HDMI cable in the laptop bag. We attached this, and were able to watch a movie that we had on the MacBook, on the big screen TV in our hotel room. It works, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars, but the first time I plugged it in then unplugged it, the entire shell came apart from the electronics inside. If the plan is to use this while traveling, I recommend strongly against that. If you are going to plug in once then never move.... go for it!Edit: I originally gave this product 2 stars, because although it fell apart after the FIRST USE, it at least still worked. My above review was fair and truthful but the seller has e-mailed me no less than 20 times asking me to change the review. Then today on e-mail 21, it doesn't even have my name... its a form letter that they automatically send whenever they get low stars, and its addressed to another customer. Okay, awesome. They claimed to refund me, but I've never seen it... I'm just done. If you are reading this.... leave me alone! I will not change my review because it is truthful.... your product fell apart the first time I used it. Sell better products.

Using it on my laptop to maximize my work area (2 external monitors: one via HDMI, one via this adapter), and I've had no hiccups what so ever.

Pretty legit, Bang for your buck!

Never got to see it in action. Mini DP connector broke off the first time I tried to use it while trying to adjust the monitor placement. I don't think it had any strain relief at all for the connection. Just whatever its solder joints to the circuit board inside could take.
