One of Corning's Best Inventions
I've had sets of these dishes for years. One fell just wrong, and shattered into a million pieces. With that said, I got over 30 years use from it. They're made from layered glass to resist chipping. They can break if hitting with just the right impact angle. They stack well, taking up minimal cupboard space. They're quality products that clean completely, are microwave safe, and are a good overall value. I'll use them over plastic any day, knowing there's no leaching of micro plastics.

MADE IN THE USA ceramic glass bowls!
I discovered I had been eating from recalled bowls from a bux store for a while now. Not good. But now that I know it, I was quick to replace them. I wanted something Made in the USA. That's tougher then it sounds. VIRTUALLY ALL of the dinner ware you find comes from China. As near as I can tell, Corelle is one of the FEW dinner ware's that's Made in the USA. So some basics. It's ceramic glass. So it has a glassy look/feel to it. It doesn't though make any "glassy" noises though. It's surprisingly very much like a standard ceramic bowl. Just a LOT lighter, and a bit thinner. I have 2 like it at home. So when I went to buy, this maker was on the list needless to say. It ended up being the ONLY one left on the list in the end based on Made in the USA. It's price is a little high, but 17 bux for 3 isn't too bad. Esp. when you consider various factors. Preserving American jobs for one. Union jobs. It came in a USA Steel Worker Union logo'd box. That earned it 5 stars all by itself in my book. Ease of clean up (nothing sticks to glass), and if you drop it, it can take a hit. Unlike ceramic. Also, since it's glass, well ceramic glass really, it doesn't stay hot for long out of the nuker. Give it a minute, and you can touch it with ease, unlike pure ceramics. Food remains warm until ur finished. Admittedly I don't know how that works, but it does. Cools quick to the touch, but what is touching food stays warm and keeps ur food warm. I'm listening if anyone wants to explain it lol! There's pretty much nothing these bowls can't fit since they are 28 oz in capacity. That's very impressive. A meal in a bowl. They stack well, and dry quickly since they are glass. Overall, 5 stars in the shade! Can't beat American quality.

Great weight and size
This bowl works terrific for salads, oatmeal, or cereal. It allows for larger quantities or stirring without spilling. It also makes it easier to eat noodles or soup while watching TV without making a mess. I have other dishes that I like but they tend to be too heavy or too low for carrying outside of the kitchen. These are great for neat freaks who cringe whenever someone moves a bowl into the living room. I have older parents who also find it easier to eat out of my corelle dishes because they are lightweight but sturdy. I appreciate the good quality, as well.

GREAT SIZE, DURABLE, SNUG STACKING, FITS ALL DECOR - KEEPER!!!
We LOVE them!Big enough for a teenager's bowl of cereal or a serious ice cream sundae! Much more useful than the dainty little ramikens they call bowls that only hold about 1.5 cups! These are SERIOUS bowls!Aside from the great size, THEY ARE DURABLE AND STACK VERY SNUGLY.I was a bit worried when I saw how thin the material was, and then I slipped and dropped one right out of the box! It fell about 4 feet and smacked the floor so hard, I was already thinking where the broom was WHEN IT BOUNCED! Not a crack or chip anywhere. Ok, the floor is not concrete, it is linoleum, but STILL, I figured that bowl was a goner and our 3 just became 2.The other thing I like is how tightly they nest. The three bowls BARELY take up another 1/2" of space over one bowl! That is SNUG stacking. Since we are low on space, I LIKE THAT!Finally, the very simple color allows it to go with just about anything. Ok, it doesn't really scream "Art Deco" but it is so low key, it pretty much fits in anywhere.

Nice BIG bowls that are large enough for a serious bowl of cereal or soup!
These are great bowls, just what we needed; high quality like the other Corelle dishes we have purchased, they are very lightweight, easy to clean, stack well and look nice. We would have liked to be able to get large bowls like this in the pattern to match our plates (Portofino) but those bowls were too small to be practical so we got these white ones. The white ones go well with the patterned dishes and the size is more important so we can use them for a big bowl of cereal or soup without spilling. These have all the great traits of the other Corelle dishes. We will probably order some more since they came in a set of 3 while the plates are in sets of 6 (not sure why the numbers differ). Certainly would recommend these for others who like big bowls rather than the little ones they are always putting in with the dish sets.
