Slightly oversized toy with a Velcro-close pocket in its 'tummy' for the heating pad and heartbeat mechanism which, as mentioned in the description, is completely quiet. It's also very subtle so when it's tucked away inside the toy... it's barely noticeable. I'm sure for a pup it's more than enough, though.I haven't needed to use the heating pad—we live in the desert, so that little bit of extra warmth isn't really needed.I'm trying to convince my dog this isn't an outside toy, which means it (hopefully) wo'n't end up in the pool. The pup loves it, though, and can often be seem carrying that overly large 'baby' around the house. Thankfully she's outgrown the tear-it-apart phase so I'm looking forward to this one lasting a long time—it's extremely durable.5 comforting stars from the pup, and I'm sure she would recommend if she could.

I wish I had found this for our puppy when we first got him as I think the warmth and the heartbeat would have been comforting to him. Now, he sort of sees it as a chew toy instead of a comfort item so I have to watch him. We have put it up to put with him when we get him fixed in another month. I think it will be a source of comfort then. The heartbeat isn't real strong but it is noticeable and the item is soft and comfortable to put in a kennel or dog bed. I do think it is nicely made. It is easy to insert the heart into the pocket and seal it up and our dog did not get to it.

The media could not be loaded.  My dog has had this toy for 2 weeks now and he loves it. Whats cool about the toy is that it has a heartbeat within in that you can feel from the outside. My dog seems to enjoy this ascpet of the toy. He plays with it and he sleeps with it. I would definitely recommend this toy for your furry friend.

We got this for a foster kitten that was being bottle fed to make him feel more secure. The animal was larger than the kitten and might be better for a larger breed dog, but the heartbeat function is working well and has been on 24/7 for about a week or so and hasn't given up yet.Haven't tried out the warming portion since it is fairly hot in the south right now.

We have 2 little foster doggies, they are 6 weeks. Beautiful babies!!!They are learning to sleep in their crate, so I put this toy when is night night time.You can turn off the heart beat during the day.The set comes also with 2 warm packs. I haven’t used those yet, because we are in Texas and is already very hot.The doggies seem to like the dog, and they calm and fall sleep.They are babies so the toy hasn’t been torn apart yet. I don’t think it would survive if my pit mix grab it.It is soft and well made.Perfect for little babies.

This is a very cute idea. My dog has some anxiety and I thought this might be helpful for her. She seemed slightly intrigued by the heartbeat but then proceeded to start trying to pull this pet apart like any other stuffed toy she has. We removed the heart to keep her safe and so far the rest is mostly intact, missing only half of one ear. Great idea, it just wasn't right for my girl.
