2.45" Car Dash Cam, Full-HD 1080P Front + 720P Rear 290 Degree Super Wide Angle Car Dash Cam with WDR, Loop Recording, G-Sensor, Parking Mode etc

I previously had a 118c dash cam, and decided to upgrade to something similar with a larger screen. This camera itself worked fine with good quality picture and features when I initially tested it. However, I am returning it due to the unacceptable level of electronic interference the dash cam gives off. Whenever the unit is plugged in, my FM stations lose signal strength with heavy static noise. If the dash cam is running on battery power alone, it is somewhat better. But as soon as the power cable (or even just the rear view camera cable) is inserted into the unit, it causes horrible interference. This happens even if the unit is NOT plugged into the 12v receptacle, which tells me it is not an issue with the vehicle (2014 Ford Focus ST), but rather an issue with the dash cam. Furthermore, my other dash cam (118c) did not cause this interference with my stereo.It did not cause any interference for the Sirius/XM or bluetooth streaming audio. So if you only listen to those types of audio sources, then this unit would be okay. But if you ever listen to your regular FM radio, be prepared for the signal strength to deteriorate and sound like you are driving through the middle of a mountain tunnel.

The internal date and time stamp always resets to an older date when the camera is turned off and comes back on. The date and time are never current.

I had a problem with the unit. The seller promptly responded taking care of me. I love this camera and was disappointed when it failed me. Thanks to a very responsive seller, Frizone, I am VERY PLEASED with both the product and the seller.-Added 09/29/17 Used this camera for 3moss. Heads-up for this camera (or ANY non-installed dash cam) you need to make a choice: either use an 'always hot' socket and use the camera's on/off button OR use an 'on only when ignition on' socket BUT if you choose this option & don't use your vehicle for about a week you need to charge the small internal battery or you will LOSE YOUR SETTINGS IF THE BATTERY RUNS DOWN. Again the seller is top rate (No, not a relation nor personal friend).

The media could not be loaded.  The front cam is clear even at night. As for the rear cam, it's ok during the day but less visibility at night. I had it mounted inside my car and my rear windows are tinted which gave me less visibility. Good visibility if the windows aren't tinted or just simply mount it outside. Overall it's good, easy to use and very reliable.

***Update 8/15/2018***Dash came is having a operating system crash/failure. Dash cam will freeze then power cycle, causing time and date to be incorrect, and lastly damaging SD Card corrupting files.**Purchased 2017** The back Camera isn't 720p and I'm also getting a slightly bad signal from the rear camera. One thing I've also noticed from the rear camera is that the video on the rear camera image sensor is incorrect (in video the view on the left is showing on the right hand side, video image on the right is on left).

It worked fine until the heat started deforming the enclosure. Then it broke two different, brand new SD cards and finally it stopped working. It lasted about 4 months. I don't recommend it.

The media could not be loaded.  The overall camera is not bad but for the price you are not getting any basic features,First the sound is useless, there are constant interference.Second, I'm not sure if I got a bad unit but the rear camera is completely useless.Third, my camera kept turning on and off every 3-6 minutes.Would be nice if the seller would contact me.

I live in Texas and this camera cannot stand up to the heat. After 2 months the plastic is melted and the buttons no longer work. It also never turned off automatically but it wasn't a problem since it never drained the battery.
