This book is real and amazing! It's graphic and explicit in many ways but so is life....I give it 5+++ Stars!!!
Alright so here it goes...this book was awesome! I mean raw, real and downright dirty. Now I know about all the controversy surrounding this series and all I have to say is if you don't like it, then don't read it! I mean first of all Madeline puts these nice little warnings on the book blurbs telling you what the book contains as far as its graphic nature (kudos to Madeline). So if you are offended by real life situations in the not so perfect and pretty parts of the world please done buy this book only to give it a bad review for a subject matter you know you won't like anyway. What to say about Unbeautifully….I LOVED it! Now I’m not going to lie and tell you it was better than the first book, Undeniable, but let’s be honest….nothing is as good as that book! And if you were a die-hard fan of Eva and Deuce then you will really love Unbeautifully because they are both a major part of this book. In fact, Eva and Deuce’s relationship was about 25% or more of this book. This book may be raw and dirty but they are a family none the less and take care of each other.Madeline Sheehan did an amazing job transitioning from the present to the past in this book while telling not only Danny and Ripper’s story, but also giving us a look at the years of Eva and Deuce’s relationship that were skimmed over in the previous book. Now what I mean by that is, since this book has to go 3 years in the past we are watching the MC Club at the time after Eva murdered Frankie and Eva and Deuce’s relationship was on the rocks because Deuce still couldn’t get the image of what Frankie did to Eva out of his head. Needless to say, since Eva and Deuce are obviously a huge part of the Club there is a large amount of focus on their tumultuous relationship not only by club members but from the first person perspective of Eva and Deuce. Now let’s get to the real reason for this book, Danny and Ripper. Danny is obviously the oldest daughter of Deuce and his first wife. We got to see a lot of her in the previous book, when she was dealing with the abuse she suffered from her mom and her dealing with Eva becoming a large part of her life. She is a beautiful, smart girl who was pretty much not allowed to date any guys, much less any of the brothers from the club. Her father and brother were extremely protective over her and she was spoiled by her father as well. But don’t let the spoiled part fool you, there’s a lot more to Danny than some spoiled princess. She has had a hard life and has matured pretty quickly for being so young. But as most little girls know, Danny’s first love was and always would be her father.“The first time I fell in love, it was with a pair of blue eyes and a wide, dimpled grin.” “Your old man loves ya, Danny girl,” he whispered. “You never, ever forget that, yeah?”Ripper lost his parents at a young age in a car accident and took to the road. He first met Deuce at a bike rally in San Antonio at the age of 17. Erik “Ripper” Jacobs had skipped town after his parent’s funeral on a stolen motorcycle, just a couple of weeks before his high school graduation. He was immediately taken in by the brothers and bought back to Montana. He was patched in as a brother of Hell’s Horsemen after only 3 months and worked his way up the ranks to sergeant at arms very quickly. They called him “Ripper” after “Jack the Ripper” because of his talent with a blade. Everyone liked Ripper. He was always smiling, cracking jokes, and he was really good with people. But when he was taken by Frankie and tortured for information on Deuce he changed. Frankie used a knife brutally on Ripper, leaving him without an eye and hideous scars covering not only his body but his face as well. He went from being a carefree happy person to a dark and tormented man.The first part of the book is set in the present. We see Danny and Ripper being hateful toward each other, yet deep down you can see it is just a cover up to hide the pain. They are attending a Club family BBQ and Ripper is there hanging all over Annabeth, one of Danny’s best friends, and Danny is dating ZZ, one of the brother’s from the club whom I love. Then before I can even get my head around why Danny is with ZZ he is on one knee in front of everyone making at incredibly sweet proposal to Danny. Danny looks at her father who is joking about beating him up, then turns to Ripper almost silently begging him to say something to stop her from saying yes, to tell her he loves her. You can actually feel the confusion and emotional turmoil in that one moment. Then Ripper screams something to her before the scene ends and we are brought 3 years in the past.Danny is at her senior prom with her boyfriend, who is grinding all over some girl on the dance floor, so she calls for someone to pick her up. Ripper shows up and she asks him to take her anywhere but home, because home isn’t a good place to be at the moment with the way her father and Eva are acting. Ripper takes her to the river where they end up having sex for the first time. Ripper wakes up the next morning thinking Deuce will find out and kill him. This goes on for a little bit while they stay away from each other. In the mean time we start to see how Eva and Deuce’s relationship is tearing the club apart and creating hostility everywhere. We also find out that Ripper hates Eva and blames her for everything that is going on at the club, as well as what happened to him at the hands of Frankie. To say Ripper has some very intense feelings of hate towards Eva would be an understatement. Ripper has shut out a lot of people. He only feels whole while riding his bike. I think that’s one of the reasons Danny and Ripper fit together so well. They both were in a lot of pain, Danny from the situation at home and her mother’s past abuse, and Ripper from the torture at the hands of Frankie and the depression and anger he feels afterward. They were two lost and broken souls who found someone who understood their feelings. Their story had parts of “Beauty and the Beast” feelings and “Romeo and Juliet.” They fell for each other fast and Danny wanted to tell her father, while Ripper refused to say anything and wanted to have her as his old lady, yet keep it a secret, felling like Deuce would kill him if he ever found out. They continued to sneak around and fell fast and hard for each other. Their relationship blossomed into something truly beautiful to see. She was so soft and sweet with him, and he was strong, dominant and protective over her.Something big happens and causes Ripper to see that he wasn’t good for Danny. He doesn’t want to pull her down and thinks she would be better off without him. So he talks to Deuce and asks to go away from the club for a while and clear his head, stating that the cause of this is the memories of what happened with Frankie. Danny is devastated to put it lightly. She falls into a state of deep depression, starts doing drugs, drinking alcohol, never showering, not going to school and not talking to anyone. Deuce and Eva had just gotten back together and her father was finally trying to make an effort to be with his family and she wanted nothing to do with him. The only person she really talked to was her brother, Cage. ZZ ends up throwing her in a shower and giving her a wake up call while holding her and being there for her. This is where their relationship starts and lasts for over a year, while Ripper comes back periodically and ends up finding out about a huge secret Danny kept from him that rips his heart out causing him to leave again. Then we come to the beginning scene again in the present.I don’t want to say anything about the end because there is too much going on not to spoil it. The only thing that made me upset with this book was how bad I felt for ZZ. I mean, of course I want Danny and Ripper to be together but I really hate that it came at the expense of such a good guy. I really hope he gets his own story. ZZ had the guts to go to Deuce before dating Danny and ask for his permission while receiving constant beat downs for it, whereas Ripper never wanted to tell Deuce. ZZ was also a sweet, caring guy who took his time with Danny and brought her back to the land of the living. Not only did he treat her well, he was also LOYAL to her. He never cheated on her like some of the other guys with an old lady. I really wanted to cry for ZZ, at the betrayal by not only his old lady whom he loved, but also one of his brothers. Ripper broke the code by sleeping with Danny while they were together and this crushed ZZ.

Be prepared to have some tissue aside for Unbeautfiully
Rating: 4 Stars - Loved ItMadeline Sheehan has done it again with another intense, emotional roller coaster novel and darker in Unbeautifully that had my stomach in knots. Be prepared to have some tissue aside for Unbeautfiully. Not only has the after affect from Frankie (from Undeniable) left Ripper physically and mentally scarred but also left a huge affect on Danny and a much bigger affect on Eva and Deuce. Loved how we get to see how the incident with Frankie in Undeniable tore apart Eva and Deuce's relationship and how they were able to re-patch their relationship. We get inside their heads and feel what they are feeling. There were times I wanted to bonk Deuce over the head for some of his actions. He was hurting and there were things he did that I for sure thought I was going to dislike him but then it turned out OK.Since Ripper was tortured by Frankie he is dark, broken, with a chip on his shoulder and feels nothing until his one night with Danny. Now he is starting to feel things he thought he had buried deep down inside. She makes him feel whole again. The back flashes when he was being tortured broke my heart. They are very descriptive that at times did have to take a minute to recoup. Loved Ripper's character right down to his sexy tattoos, dirty talking mouth, possessive, jealous, over protective, alpha male attitude. He believes Danny is beautiful, innocent and deserves better than a life of the MC.Growing up with the MC that is only what Danny knows. She sees the beautiful inside Ripper and since their one night together that is all she can think about is him. Since the incident with Frankie left her dad (Deuce) emotionally and physically absent and now he is back in her life playing the father role but is broken and sad she hates him for it. Loved her character right down to her snippy attitude and loved that she can hold her own with Ripper.Loved Danny and Ripper together. The are perfect for each other in their own way. I think they connect because they can relate to each other because they were both affected by Frankie's wrong doing in Undeniable. Their journey to happiness is sexy with some serious steam factor, serious bumps in their relationship that at times was not sure if they would get over some things.Unbeautifully is another great read in the Undeniable series. Even though this series is dark, twisted, not faint for the heart. When in the mood for this type, I could seriously read these novels again and again with well written characters that are so real they jump off the pages that you feel what they are feeling. I can not wait for Cage and Tegen story in Unattainable (Undeniable #3).Originally posted at Wickedly Delicious Book Blog

Beautiful!!
Madeline Sheehan knows how to write a beautiful twisted love that has you wanting more. This MC world is ugly, cruel, and dangerous, yet there is always love. Ripper and Danny's story is beautiful and cruel. It's just downright heartbreaking at times. Their love is born in an ugly world, where bad things' happening is a natural occurrence. Their story breaks you apart and brings you back together - only for it to break you apart again! This story pulled me in and tied me down until I read the last word. I devoured this book!5 star Plus!!!

Douloureusement beau

Ripper & Danny.. Unbeautiful is beautiful!
He was an incredibly beautiful man. The scars just forced you to look a little harder to see what was still there..."All scars tell a story, beautiful girl" he said, realising me to trade the marks on my stomach..."And mine" he sais softly, grabbed my hand, trailing my palm across his cheek and then his chest."Tell the story of how I found you."1. Undeniable - Deuce & Eva2. Unbeautifully - Ripper & Danny3. Unattainable - Cage & Tegen UndeniableUndeniable

soul crushingly beautiful.........
#1 Badly Behaving Author does it again!!!!!!I absoultely loved this book.I loved how it made me laugh out loud (got a few strange looks from my husband for that), how it made me want to cry, (I think i did that too at some point) not just for Ripper and Danny but for Jase, ZZ and for Eva and Deuce also and, how happy i was when everything ended as it should.Madeline has left me wanting so much more, making me NEED all the others in the series NOW!!!!I think UnBeautifully is anything but....this book is soooo beautiful....soul searingly beautiful, and i know both of Madelines books will stay with me for a long time to come. These are the kinds of books that once they are in your heart you will never forget them and that really doesn't happen all that often (not to me anyway).I read this book in one sitting as once i started it was impossible to put it down. The story grips you right from the start and right where UnDeniable left us, there was no confusion as to what was going on and for me made the story so much more....I loved how it followed on from UnDeniable (which i had to read again....of course)and gave you pieces of Eva and Deuce throughout as well as other members of the MC. I can almost see where the other books are going to come from.I was scared to read this book initially because i didnt think UnDenaible could be beaten....How very wrong was i, if anything i think this book is better than UnDeniable....why?....i dont know i just still feel this book in my heart and soul it kinda left me reeling, even as i write this review 12hours after i finished the book.Madeline Sheehan is evil and brilliant and absolutely amazing. I love her writing Style and how its not a soppy love story, its not hearts and flowers but at the same time it is an amazing love story. Don't get me wrong i love soppy love stories, but once in a while an author comes along and changes the way we see things, Madeline is truly unique in the way she tells a story (God i love this woman's books) This book and Undeniable are by far some of the most incredible writing i have read in a while and i read a lot.
