Good wire.
If you are doing any auto or marine wiring, get the marine grade wire. It won't corrode.

Good quality
Seems like good quality wire. I needed to re-wire a fuel pump, so I needed wire that claimed to be gasoline resistant. I have a small piece soaking in gas and it appears to be doing fine after a couple of weeks. The wire is tinned, but when I cut it I can tell it really is copper core.

Very reliable
A little pricey, but better than having to replace wire every few years. I use this in a salty marine environment exposed to sunlight. I've never had a problem with Ancor wire deteriorating like so many no-name wires. They are so much stronger and better built.

Shipping was delayed but that's the times we live in. Very fair price for marine grade wire.

Best wire I've used in years
One tough wire plus it is Flexible and lays flat.Regular wire works, but this works great. Very easy to run.I'm glad I got the 100ft roll. I don't know where it's made but sure doesn't seem like the stuff out of China.I am 100% happy with this wire.

Best in class
The brand has been around for a long time. I used it back in my boating days. Now I value the superior quality in 12/24/48 volt solar installations.I tend to buy larger rolls because the price per foot drops so much. It’s perfectly spooled and properly marked. If kept in a cool dry place, this wire will come in handy for years of DIY projects and experiments.Good quality just doesn’t come at rock bottom prices. And electric systems are only as good as the weakest component.Love the product, love the reliable performance

Highly recommended for automotive use
I have done extensive rewiring in my 1984 Porsche and started out with small rolls of standard copper automotive primary wire purchased from an auto parts store. After running out, I decided to try this wire and I am glad I did.The advantages: Far more flexible, better quality insulation, if it does get nicked (probing with a pin for voltage) it won't corrode under the insulation, and less voltage drop for longer runs.Although my Turbo Porsche is anything but a boat, I have switched to Marine Grade wire from now on.

Not 16/2 wire
If you want single conductor wire, this is good quality marine grade tinned copper wire but it is single conductor and of only limited use.I returned it after discovering that was not 16/2 wire.
