ECCO Men's Yucatan Sport Sandal

My sister prefers these sandals as they have the best arch support she's been able to locate. Typically she buys them locally, but the department store no longer carries them. Therefore, away to Amazon we went! Their loss, Amazon's gain! Luckily, we found them, for cheaper, and she's delighted to have received them yesterday. These are her second pair in a span of a few years. She finds them extremely comfortable during the entire year as we live in a southern city with moderate to non-existent winters. I haven't seen her wear any other sandal or go to such great lengths to locate another pair as these by ECCO. Definitely a brand people should consider for their footwear needs.So delighted, she asked me to review them for her and include pictures. They don't squeeze her toes or foot and reduce circulation. When she removes them there isn't any evidence of swelling as she tends to encounter with other shoes that cut off the circulation over time. She's worn them all day, fresh pair, without any issue, therefore ECCO doesn't require "breaking in" shoes as other brands have a need of.

These are the most awesome sandals ever!! So comfortable and I can walk everywhere with them. I haven't been able to wear sandals for several years now because my feet would always hurt when I would go walking in other shoe sandal brands, but these are the best I've ever had. I'm female and I buy the mens because I have a wider toe front and narrow heals. These are adjustable and wide enough for my toes.I have an update for this. After wearing these for a couple of months, I discovered that the shoes were not wide enough for my little toes. They were rubbed so bad that they formed painful corns on them. The doctor told me not to wear them anymore.These shoes may be great for someone else.

Bought my first pair in 2008 for a trip to hot India where shoes that needed socks would be too warm. I lived in these sandals for two weeks! They were so much more comfortable than my running/ walking shoes or any other shoes I own, so they have been my go-to shoes now for nine years. My first pair is still comfortable but doesn't look great anymore (I actually throw them in the washing machine so they're been beaten up). My second pair, purchased 3-4 years ago, still looks and feels great, but I bought pair #3 during an Amazon one day sale last summer as a backup. They're still in the box ready for when the current pair starts to look worn. These are probably the best, most comfortable shoes I've ever had. That's saying a lot with six decades behind me!

I love the quality of Ecco company,Over decades now I’ve owned a number of their shoes. Never got disappointed.Some of them were running on the more narrow side, so here you have to watch the width as well.This sandals fit my wide feet perfectly. I ordered them a month ago and since then I’ve been wearing the sandals every day, testing them on the European terrain: no blisters, no pain in my lower back. They are soft and comfortable.Clear recommendation!

So, I had been using a pair of Teva’s before this. It is common for me to walk up to five miles a day in those, and literally wore the soles out.When I bought those, I didn’t realize I would be hiking so much in them. So when it came time to replace them, I did a Google search looking for “best hiking sandals”, and thus pair came highly recommendedAfter my first hike, I got major blisters on the soles of my feet. I figured I needed to just break them in. I let my feet heal, and tried them again. Blisters. Repeat. Blisters. I’ve given them two months now, and I am going back to Teva.To be fair, they are comfortable. They look good. They support my feet. If you wore them like normalPeople do, they would be fine. There is something about the texture of the insole that just rubs against my feet. I tried adjusting the fit. I tried a few things. When I do a serious walk I get blisters. I’m keeping them for when I am not planning to hike.

This is my 3rd pair, and I wore the first 2 for 2 straight years almost every day on the street and light woods-hiking. The soles are very tough and protect your feet better than sneakers. I only replaced each pair when I wanted a fresh arch support because the did flatten out after 2 years. Just like my expensive hiking shoes. Worth every penny for comfort and foot protection.

I've owned many pairs of these sandals, so I like the fit. I vacillate between ordering a women's size 40 and 41, as I must be somewhere between those two. The 41's, which this pair is, are a tad looser than I would like, even with the adjustable straps tightened, but I like the length better than the size 40's. No matter which pair I wear, they are comfortable all day long. I wear orthotics, which are attached to the footbed with Velcro, for additional arch support. The sandals last a long time, and I have washed them in the washing machine with good results (except for my all-leather black pair, which I would not wash).

I just bought a pair of Yucatan outdoor off-road hiking sandals in rose dust/powder. Reviews and Amazon suggested I order a 7( I wear 6.5 or 7). My feet appear to fit within the sandals appropriately. However, within 20 minutes these sandals had dug cruel holes in many places around both of my feet. Across the top of both feet, the clasp pinches and sucks my flesh up into a painful fold inside the Velcro clasp. The front edge of the clasp has dug blisters into my two last toes on both feet. There are horrible gouges on the inside of both feet near the inner ankle. I prevented further injury to the top of my foot over my big toes, and under the Velcro buckle, as well as on the outside ankle of both feet by putting mole skin in those areas( so unattractive). I’ve had the sandals off now for an hour and all of these areas are stinging and raw.I considered returning for a smaller size, but the same color shoe one size down is literally twice as much in cost as this one, and I have no way of knowing whether this will make the injuries worse. I can’t say that I’m willing to risk it.These were supposed to be my comfortable walking summer sandal. They are horrible, and cost way too much. I paid to suffer.So disappointed

These are excellent. Comfy from the moment you put them on and also a quality pair of sandals. The bridge support is good and I feel I could walk miles in these and also traverse rough terrain. Very happy. The sizing is spot on and whilst they're not the lightest they seem very tough.
