Daikin 1.5 Ton 3 Star Fixed Speed Split AC (Copper, PM 2.5 Filter, FTL50U, White)

Have used it during peak summers in a place where temperatures regularly range between 46-48 degrees. It cools the room in a jiffy. But that is what ACs are supposed to do right? The best part is after almost a month of regular usage when you receive the energy consumption bill. It is surprising for its sheer cooling capacity.Was a bit apprehensive about ordering AC online. But this model is not usually available locally. Amazon’s service and delivery was prompt, no frills, no complains. Installation by Daikin was also hassle free.Definitely recommend it. You pay a premium no doubt, but it is worth it in the long run (hope so).

Compare to this new inverter AC will good ,the ac tempreture slowly rise in this 😅but now new doesn't take that much time

Worst Cooling, I am using two three Companies AC for various rooms. But Daikin is the worst in terms of Cooling. Similar To another Company AC cools not only same room but can also chill another room but Daikin AC is not able to Cool it's own room where it's installed. Posting late as thought that atleast post one of the Service it will work as per expectations. But it's utter waste of my hard earned money.

Cooling is good, noiseless operation. No compromise with quality as it's Daikin. Installation was prompt but costly approx ₹4000. Two drawbacks, no backlit remote & no mini display on AC.

Lets start with what most of you are worried about i.e. “Installation”. Even I did not have a very good installation experience initially, So I sent the installation guys back and called Diakin customer care to reschedule it from a different service centre and they were more than happy to help. This time I was fully satisfied the installation. Actually the thing is Diakin does not have there own service centre, they have tie ups with various third party service centres hence the difference. Other than that AC works wonderfully.

It was delivered today and got it installed today itself. Daikin has outsourced services to Javees and I got prompt professional services.AC has strong cooling. Outdoor unit is bigger than same size AC from Carrier. Remote has LED display that can glow in dark. I was looking for this feature.One major disappointment is that indoor unit doesn’t have LED temp display. It is difficult to imagine that a Daikin product would have such basic feature missing.

They don't provide any temperature or swing indicator on the indoor unit. And interestingly at the same time it's remote don't have any display backlight.Now think, how you will adjust temperature, swing or fan speed at night.Don't know who designed it and how it got approved when basic required features missing in it.I have used Hitachi, Voltas and Bluestar ACs but never faced this strange issue.Diakin please fix this design flaw
