I used this to hang power points over the work benches in my workshop and it works perfectly we can pull down the power points when I need them I went ahead and order 2 more

Exactly as expected - used to counterweight loft hatch
I have a loft hatch which is fairly large and hard to open. Attaching this between the roof and the hatch took enough of the weight to allow the hatch to open. There was about 60cm of wire pulling at an adjustable equivalent weight of 3-5Kg as described.

Poor quality
The mechanism was of poor quality. Delivery super quick and well packaged. Had to return it as not suitable.
