Excellent weight & balance. The varying hardness of the faces are easy to adjust to accommodate soft, or more firm blows.

Picture is incorrect! This is a non-sparking kit. All the tips are brass threaded, as is the dead blow head. Handle is black, instead of green.Using the more common steel threaded tips or hammers will cause corrosion between the 2 different types of metal. I don't believe you can get a steel tip with brass threads (this would defeat the purpose of a non-sparking hammer).So, you can't beat on things as heavily with this set.

Excellent quality. Hammer is quite a bit larger than I expected. I was looking for something smaller (finish hammer size) that I could throw into my tool belt loop for "bumping" cabinets during Installation as well as finish grade millwork. It was hard to envision size before ordering as there is nothing available to scale it to. It's a bit on the expensive side too. Identical sets without the brand name are available for less. Replacement tips with more selection of grades of hardness are also available elsewhere. Do a Google search, Replaceable Tip Hammer and you can find.

Not much to say. It is a good tool kit for when you need a dead blow hammer and have need of different surface tension. While it hasn’t seen a large amount of use, in the time I have had it, it can’t be beat when needed.
