Thank goodness for Amazon!
Easy to put on but definitely not worth it! Barely drove it (literally not even 50 miles) and this made the check engine light go on. Thought I lost the $220 but luckily Amazon makes good on returns for bad items!

Straight forward installation. Great sound. Wrong size adapter.
Edit: So I decided one day to drive with my additional gauges on my tablet and noticed that my fuel trims were way off, up to +23% at idle and hit a maximum of +45% at times. The MAF adapter is the wrong size in this kit for a 2014-2015 Honda Civic 1.8L. I didn't think to check and see if it measured the same size as the OEM MAF housing. For testing sake, I put the OEM intake back on giving me +3% fuel trim which is fine. I reinstalled the Spectre intake with the supplied adapter in the kit and again back to +23% fuel trim. Spectre sells a universal MAF mount with additional adapters part# 9405. You need the 2.25" MAF adapter from this kit which more closely matches the OEM MAF housing although it is slightly smaller. After putting this adapter in the fuel trim at idle was at pretty much 0% meaning the ECU didn't have to add or remove fuel compared to the factory fueling map. The MAF flow rate reading was pretty similar to the OEM as well.I've added a couple of pictures with the caliper being set to the diameter of the OEM MAF housing against both the 2.25" and 2.5" adapters. With the 2.25" adapter being a tiny bit smaller you'll lose a bit of power but the fuel trims will stay closer to within spec without having to get the ECU retuned for the additional airflow. I mainly have it installed for the sound anyway. My car never threw an engine code but was probably pretty close to it and probably would depending on the driving circumstances. I suspect this might be what is happening to some people who have the kit installed for a while and then get an engine code.I've been driving the car with the new smaller adapter and the fuel trims seem ok. I will update if anything else happens. I kinda wish Spectre added all three sizes of MAF adapters they make and just told you in the instructions to measure what you have and you can decide if you want more airflow and risk throwing a check engine light. As a result of the kit not having the proper size MAF adapter, I've had to drop my rating to 3 stars since most people won't have the equipment to measure fuel trim and MAF air flow readings.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------For what you get it's pretty expensive but other options out there are even more so.Installation is pretty straightforward. However, there is a part in the instructions that tell you to install a mass air flow sensor insert then in the picture for the next step it's not installed. Some people might get confused by this and considering the difficulty of slipping the filter over the sharp edge of the insert I could see some people just discarding this plastic piece.Do not discard this unless you're going to get your car tuned. The mass air flow sensor is calibrated and tuned for a specific size of intake from factory. This insert is to reduce the intake around the sensor down to the factory size so the computer knows how much air is going into the engine. My tip though would be to sand down the sharp edge that the filter has to slip over. Make sure you remove all dust before you install it. Makes slipping the filter on and off so much easier for maintenance.I the end it gives the car that deep throaty grunt sound when you open up the throttle. Yet it's not any louder when cruising on the highway which is great for people wanting to do some spirited commuting from time to time.Gas mileage is probably a little worse just because I'm more aggressive with the throttle now. Also I've driven through a few torrential downpours on the highway and didn't have any issues with water.
