DGL by enzymatic therapy is an effective acid/ acid reflux reducer & can be used with a regimen to decrease dependence on medications that decrease, or stop the production of stomach acid if you have habituated to them. If you want to reduce dependence on pharmaceutical acid inhibitors, make sure you work with a qualified doctor, or naturopath. There are medical conditions that have the need for commercial pharmaceutical intervention. However, there are also circumstances where people can prevent the production of adequate digestive assistance because of poor habits and misinformation. I’ve tried many brands of DGL. If you like licorice, the flavor is tolerable in many brands. However, the flavor by Enzymatic therapy has been much better in many cases by my taste, when compared to other brands. While this is an effective product by a reliable company- there are many companies that make effective, chewable DGL tabletsat a much lower cost.

Well. I ordered the enzymatic therapy dgl. What I received was Nature’s way. Thankfully, it was not the chocolate version. As it is, thus one tastes slightly smoky, but is considerably better than natural factors’ current version. I would give this one 4 stars due to its burned flavor, but took one away because it was the wrong brand. Who knows, maybe the seller did me a favor. lol
