Heavy duty. Holds up well
I have two German Shepherds who tear through toys in seconds and have spent a lot of money on toys that say they are durable. These bones are very sturdy, flexible and excellent quality. I do not like the hard plastic for my dogs because it could damage their teeth. This material has not been punctured. It does squeak if your dogs mouth is strong enough to make it squeak. It is heavyweight but will not harm their teeth. I defiantly will buy more not because I have to but because they love it so much they deserve to have more.

Love this treat ball!
My puppy loves to scoot this ball around and has fun collecting the dog food that falls out. He is also a destructive chewer but this ball has lasted. One of the few and truly indestructible toys out there. He weighs about 20 lbs. I bought him the larger one. He is also a poor eater but this makes meal time fun! I was worried that the "giggle" noise that comes from the ball might be annoying but it's not at all, it's very subtle.

Tough toy, squeaker broke after 2 days
Got this for my German Shepherd (7 months) and it is a tough toy, she loves it but the squeaker broke after 2 days. She still plays with it and loves it but not as much as when it made sounds.

Great and Not So Great
I want everyone to know why I returned this. It is indeed virtually indestructible. Other toys last an hour or two. He enjoyed this toy so much. The squeak blew his mind. AND, he could not get to the squeaker which thing is good! That said, after only 1 hour, the squeaker dislodged inside the bone where I could neither re-insert it or get to it to fix it in any way. Dog very disappointed as am I. I ordered two more because I want these to work, but I will return them again if the same problem persists.Replacement came over night, and same old story, with a twist. This toy never had the squeaker inserted correctly in the hole in the first place. It is rattling around INSIDE the toy as I re-wrap it for return. I'll be switching brands.

LOVE LOVE LOVE
I LOVE this new toy for my German Shepherd Dog! My puppy idles at 70mph but this keeps him entertained. There is no evidence of chewing damage and he has played with it for hours a day for the past 6 days. He almost likes it more than the antler rack my dad gave him!!! Now we have 2 beautiful toys we all enjoy for different reasons :) The only thing that could improve this toy is if it was 1" bigger so it couldn't roll under my coffee table (and it came with a person to cut my dogs nails - ya-ya, I know).I am not affiliated with this business and I paid for it - I can't remember how much but it was inexpensive.

My dog didn't like it
I know this said it was for bigger dogs...but my dog chews like a big dog, so thought this would keep him busy.I put his dry kibble in it, with a little bit of peanut butter around the hole & on the stem. I squeeked it a few times to get his attention. He was scared of it! So I left it on the floor for him to get used to it. After awhile, he checked it out & licked off the peanut butter, but never bothered with it, even after a week...with me continuing to show him it was a great toy. He wasn't convinced. My dog is a 13 pound Sheltie/Rat Terrier mix, 10 months old. This dog has shredded a rope bone & every furry toy I've bought him over the last 6 months. He's torn the covers off of tennis balls...even the Kong balls that are supposed to be indestructible. He's also shredded a Kevlar duck, taking the wings right off of it!So anyone can understand why I'd go for a toy like this one. I was hoping to find something that would keep him occupied so he'd stop fi ding other things to destroy...like power cords, zipper pulls, my yarn stash, and any stray paper he can reach.I'm thinking of hiring out my dog to the makers of dog toys, to get his paw of approval for anything that passes his chew tests. Yep, that's our Buddy...chews like a Pitty. Must be the Terrier in him.I gave this toy to our friend, who has two big dogs. I told him to take a before picture, to see how long it lasts. Maybe they'll give it a five paw review!

Great for hard chewers
My dog will destroy almost any toy unless it’s made out of very durable materials. This one is great because he has not broken it yet. There are scrapes and dents but nothing major. The bumps are great for cleaning his teeth too!

He hasn't destroyed it yet but sure tries to, and it is so fun watching him roll for snacks.
My dog loves his new little '"quack quack" toy (we had to give it a name different from "ball" so he knows which one to bring us when asked to fetch one of them). He will search frantically around the house looking for it because he loves nosing it around and rolling his snacks out. Growling at it when it won't give them up, LOL. By the third time, he figured out 'roll' worked better than 'chew'. Although he still has chewed on it plenty (especially if a snack gets stuck) but - so far - the ball has hung in there (I'll try to remember to update at 3 months). Mind you, he is only a Shiba-Chi, the ball is almost as big as his head. He is young, active and loves to play lots, he pulls his favorite toys out of his bin regularly, teases us to play fetch, or tosses them around and chew/tears at them. He gets new toys fairly regularly, which he doggedly determinedly tears apart over a few days (like those annoying rubber squeaker toys) and even shreds every 'indestructable' cloth dog toy he has. He doesn't like the hard plastic pokey ones and the Kong is too big for a 10 lb dog, the reviews on this toy sounded promising and I'm very pleased it has survived after a few weeks. Whenever I shake it, he will come running to the muffled "quack" noise it makes - ever hopeful of another few treats. The sound is unique but certainly not irritating like a squeeker toy can be - I don't mind it at all. It makes me smile when I hear it quack, as he packs it around or shakes it and tosses it at me, hoping I'll put something inside the ball. It is so enjoyable watching him nose-push the ball trying to get at the 5-6 bits, or hold it under his paw as he tries to fish out his snack, then rolls it a bit and checks about again. His ingenuity is entertaining. I've learned not to put in anything too large that won't easily fall out - my favs are dried liver or salmon treats, pieces of dried beef lung, or mini-milk bones. I also won't put anything in the ball that might go bad or leave residue inside it. My dog doesn't gulp his food down but, just for the fun of watching him, I put his 1/3 cup of dinner kibbles (large size ones) into the ball a couple evenings. He does leave a trail behind doing this, since he excitedly rolls the ball across the living room, making it quack and drop 'kibble snacks' everywhere. I think he is seeking the 'real treats', so he is somewhat haphazard about going back to eat his supper up, which means I have to pick up the stragglers. I think I'll just keep it for 'treat-snacks' rather than his dog food kibbles, but if your dog is one who gobbles everything, this form of slow feeding is a great idea too.

Cane corsos love them!
They arrived the next day! My dogs love them! Heavy chewers at 150 and 110 lbs. I put peanut butter in the crevices and it kept them busy for a long time! No damage to them at all after a few days of vigorous chewing!

It's lasted more than 5 minutes
This is the first toy we've given sully that has not been destroyed in less than 5 minutes So it's super tough we are fostering sully and he's been with us for a week and every other Roy has not lasted as advertised This toy has endured a sound munching and still looks like new I would highly recommend this ball

Not large
Would call this medium at best as it only just is big enough for my medium sized dog and not useful for my large dog at all
