I am someone who has mainly used sponges and fingertips to apply makeup for most of their life. I am jsut getting into the finer points of using brushes, and I have to say of all the foundation brushes I have tried, this one is truly the best so far!I was especially impressed with how well it worked with my cream foundation and helps me apply it smoothly. I have also used it for contouring with great results. While I might not be a makeup expert, this brush makes me get the feel of how to do what I was doing far better.

This is a decent, standard makeup brush. I use it to apply liquid foundation, and it does a good job blending without losing bristles. I would say it's about on par with a mid grade brush you could get at Target. Supposedly it is also good with mineral makeup, but I cannot comment on that as I have only used it for liquid. Works well.

This is just a really good foundation brush. I’ve used it to apply liquid foundation and heavier CC creams and the bristles are soft but dense enough to thoroughly blend with ease. The quality is good- it washes well with no loose or fallen bristles. I’m ordering another for a spare.

Kabuki is my favorite brush to use when applying makeup because it's versatile and helps make application of makeup more easy and stress free. I really enjoy using this particular brush because it's soft on my skin but blends very well.
