We found HAUS after doing some really heavy research on natural/non toxic products to use in our hot tub after my son started to present with a skin reaction to the last cleaner we were using on the shell and the in the jets.Our dermatologist had asked us to bring in all of the products he comes into contact with and after a few months of trial and error we determined what the problem was, our hot tub cleaning products. After we stopped using it altogether, his skin cleared up, even after being in the tub.We tried introducing several other products, but each time we ran into the same issue after just a few times in the tub and we thought we were essentially out of options as obviously the industry is full of all the exact same kind of products for this application.A good friend recommended I give these guys a try and I have to say, I am so relieved I did I can't even put it into words. My son has had ZERO issues with his skin ever since, we have noticed absolutely no lack of cleaning power even though it is a purely plant based product, if anything I would say this product works BETTER than our last one, it even works great as a 'filter soak' solution (you will have to google it), the point is, this cleaner really is a one stop shop.My family can not recommend the HAUS hot tub cleaner enough it really honestly has been a game changer for us.

Takes grime easily off the hot tub wall that cant be removed with just a sponge, water and elbow grease. This product removes it like erasing a marker board. No scrubbing needed.

It is actually apparently very difficult to find a good, all natural and non toxic product for this application, so we were thrilled when we found HAUS. After several rounds of trial and error I learned that the best way to use this is actually not to just pour it on and let it sit, but to wet the surface, scrub this cleaner into that surface with the sponge, THEN let it sit there and soak in for a while before wiping it off and rinsing it away. It works so well on our cover and cover bar that we actually have a few bottles, each labeled for different parts of the tub. It is unscented and doesn’t bother my kiddo’s who are very sensitive to harsh fragrances and the cost is comparable to other more abrasive cleaning agents, so it is a no brainer for us.

So we actually use this product slightly differently, we buy a few of them at a time and we dump the solution into a 5 gallon bucket (it’s like a gel consistency) and mix it with a little course salt and either water or saline depending on what we have, and then we soak the internal parts to our hot tub in it overnight. The jet heads, the filters, the rotating spinner things and the clips for example and we do this once every few weeks sometimes more. Then when we take them out we lay them out and scrub them with a course brush, spray everything down with a hose and it almost all looks brand spanking new every single time. We have a different product we use for the PH control and etc but this cleaner is a very important part of our Spa regimen!

Absolutely LOVE this cleaner, works like magic on hard water lines and the calcium build up in our swim spa, even works great on the seated dirt on the filters. I will say however the filters took a few trys to get 'perfect', but I realized it says very clearly on the instructions to let it soak for 30 minutes (which I did not do, lol), worked great after that. The sponge that it comes with looks pretty small and thin however it actually works really really well I was pleasantly surprised. My favorite part is it is entirely plant based and natural so I do not have to worry about my dog (who likes to jump in my tub lol) getting into a toxic product.

So far used it to clean my tub and am happy with product.

We used to get the HAUS cleaner at our local plumbing supply store but unfortunately they hiked the price up so high that we are forced to buy online. We have been using it for years and will never use another cleaner inside our Spa, the company is small and local and all ingredients are natural/biodegradable. This is very important to us as most are actually not, and you are using this product inside something you are sitting in!!! Let it sit and soak in to the heavier grime and oil lines and scrub it real good with the sponge it comes with and you will not be disappointed.

We actually don’t even own a hot tub, but my wife has sensitive skin and the products we were using in our built in jetted tub at home were irritating her skin, so I set out to find something a little heavy duty but still gentle. I found here with this product and we couldn’t be happier it is the only one I use now. It’s a little more expensive compared to the other all purpose cleaners we tried, but it clearly works the best and doesn’t leave any slimy residue behind.
