Super Salmiakki

I love the size of these. Larger than some other salmiakki that resemble tiny hockey pucks. These are nice and thin but you can suck on them on the roof of your mouth for a long time as you enjoy. Excellent quality; the robust flavor is consistent throughout. Fazer makes the best salty licorice! Yum!

Was recommended by my son-in-law. Love the flavor and the chewiness. Just the right amount of saltiness.

I did not realize when I ordered these that the Super in the name meant an additional flavor that I can only compare to horehound. It is minty, but more medicinal. As an American trying a niche candy from another country I was no prepared for this extra flavor. They are, to me, okay. Nothing I would purchase again, but not so bad that I won't finish the bag I do have.

this is the first salmiakki i've ever tried and it was probably the best candy i've ever had really. I've eaten the 2 bags I ordered in 2 days. the salmiakki isn't that salty and you don't notice the licorice that much.

This stuff is WAAAAY to strong for me. I'm still rating it 5 star because a strong Salmiak is what I was looking for to try and this definitely fit the bill. I like some of the milder brands I've tried but this super brand is HEAVY on the ammonium and tastes like salty licorice mixed with strong menthol cough drops with a vague side of cat urine. They're edible to me but barely. If you're into strong Salmiak though you'l probably love them! If you're looking for a milder Salmiak check out the Sallos Salmiak Pasrillen, it was the first I tried and I love it. Hopefully I will grow into these.

This is a new treat for me, and I have to say that I like it more now than when I first tried it. It is not typical British or American licorice by any stretch, and it does indeed have a strong eucalyptus undertone. But it is curiously appealing, and I'm glad I gave it a try.

A bit different than most licorice, has more of a throat lozenge effect with the menthol, but mixed with licorice and a tiny bit of salmiak. Reminds me of some small diamond shaped candies from the Netherlands. Leaves a cooling sensation in the mouth. Flavor is strong, satiating, and sweet.
