I loved it but after almost 3 months of having it it just stopped working, the pump, the wiring. Now I'm looking for a replacement parts. My plants are dead and I have to start over.😢

Easy for first time growers

I have an AeroGarden unit that is sort of the "gold standard" for these small hydroponic set ups, but aside from the fact my AeroGarden is fully automated and "smart," and quite a bit more expensive that this kit. That's why I'm very impressed with this kit - for the price point, the only thing you really have to remember is to check the water level and to add nutrient solution about every two weeks. Not bad - you can set up a calendar reminder for both, but this kit gives you what you need to get started except seeds. If you are new to this, grab a packet of loose-leaf lettuce - almost any variety will do - and plant them in the little seed pod/holders once you get this hydroponic garden unit set up. Lettuce is one of the fastest and easiest edibles to grow inside and like my first time with a hydroponic inside the house, you will be amazed at just how fast you'll be eating lettuce grown in your own home! Basil is another great one to try in this system - I love pesto sauce on just cooked noodles and if you have several basil plants, you can whip up some pesto every couple of days to feed yourself and your family from your own, home grown plants. Know someone who loves to garden? This would be a great gift as well, but whatever you do - get one for yourself and maybe one for a friend!
