I was excited to try this out for bullet journaling, however the pages are not all the same. I am using it because it's a trial for my first journal, and I paid for it already, but the pages in the front of the book are missing dots that are present on later pages in the back. Could be better. I also read that the spine breaks to a somewhat flat plane but it's really taking some effort to get it to lay nicely and then also close nicely again. I wish the cover were just a little bit thicker.

I really enjoy this notebook so far. It came quickly in the mail and was approximately the size I figured it would be. It fits in a medium size purse which is what I was hoping for so I could take it to work. The dots are lightly colored so they aren't difficult to write around, but are still present enough to follow. I didn't have any issues in ordering but the company still reached out to verify that everything went well in the buying and shipping process, which I appreciated. I liked the customer service I had experience with and am overall a fan of the journal so far!

it had a coffee stain that went through the first two pages and the cover...other than that its pretty good

A really nice little journal/sketch book. The paper is nice enough that pencil doesn't smudge. The dots are soft enough that it doesn't interfere with any sort of drawing. And the dots work really well for a guideline for writing. This one is stitch bound, which isn't so bad when it comes to opening it up and laying it flat. But if you don't like that sort of binding then maybe this isn't for you. I'm generally not fond of that sort of binding, but this book won me over.

Love this journal. Made so well that it could last forever. Love the black cloth spin trim. I keep it on my night table so it is handy enough to write down anything that comes to mind, immediately. I only order 1 to see if I would like it. Turns out I use it daily so I plan on ordering more. I have used other journals in the past but nothing compares to the quality & value of the Northern Journal.

I am enjoying using this northern journal. It is very well crafted and I find it just the right size to carry around. I prefer the "dot" pattern, as ordered, because I can sketch out ideas on these pages more effectively then on the lined pages. Great journal, thank you.
