Pros:You don't miss anything.Setting up shots is simple you don't really need to worry about camera angles just hit record and sort it out later.The invisible selfie stick and all the other addons work great. You can use them to easily put this camera in places and angles that would usually require specialist equipment and/or loads of planning.You can do some great AI assited effects with it in the phone app.Unless they're in the know, most people are very impressed with the shots you get with this - "how did you get a drone in there?", "did you throw your camera?" etc..Cons:Whether you're making flat or 360 video the insta360 editing software is really basic, and you more or less have to use it as the files are proprietary until you convert them to standard format in the software. It only has the single editing track, you cant chop and change things around in it and have to follow the original timeline. You can't combine clips. If you want different shots of the same moment in time then you'll have to do 2 separate edits and combine in another program. If you want to do anything decent, such as adding titles, transitions, colour editing etc you'll have to edit in another program. The phone app is slightly better, you can add music, set speed and the videos are easier to manipulate using touch screen / motion but it's still far too basic.Video quality isn't brilliant, that 5.7k is spread out over the entire sphere, which is a big space so the bit your viewing is probably more like 1080p, maybe less. You also need lots of light, this camera isn't brilliant in low light.The screen is a bit irritating. It's tiny and round which makes it difficult to navigate menus which is all you use it for, the viewfinder is largely redundant being a 360 camera and all. The X3 has a bigger oblong screen which I imagine is miles better to use. You can use your phone.You look a bit of a tool wandering around waving a blob on a stick.You'll spend a small fortune on accessories.

Love it. Easy use, the mobile app takes about 10mins to get the hang off and the desktop app is excellent.

I own two camera 360 and this one , with this camera the main problem doesn't want to record on sd card , even if you subscribe to record in cloud , battery and motion sensors I'm happy not recoding

Bought this as I do a lot Of Car shows and all I can say is wow even the app is great for help well worth the money

First time with this type of camera.Initial thoughts were great, good picture, good app and love the invisible selfie stick feature.However, after just 3 weeks the camera has stopped working.I did take it in water about 1-2M deep. Although the camera says it’s waterproof up to 10M it seems that this isn’t the case.The camera now won’t charge, turn on or do anything. Clearly water has got into the camera and now doesn’t function.To make this more frustrating, Insta360 have said they do not offer refunds on products that have been used. Therefore I now have to go through a long process of returning the camera to their repair team. If this was straight forward I wouldn’t mind so much, but it seems like there are so many hurdles to just try and get my camera (that I paid nearly £500 for) to be fixed or replaced just after 3 weeks of use.

The media could not be loaded.  Well I seen camera was reduced and I thought , great saved me some money and perfect time as I'll get it for this weekend as I really needed it.I unboxed the product...put in the memory card charged up the battery everything it instructed me to do....Then I switched on the camera and the loading screen appeared for like 15 secs then switched off and I got a solid aqua/blue light staying on the device....I waited for 5 mins incase it was doing some sort of installation but nothing happened...I looked on the internet and apparently damaged devices has this problem which made me think was the price reduced to try and get rid of a batch of faulty products....cant just be my luck?Anyways I needed the camera for a specific date and now it ain't happening....not working right out of the box

I bought this product for our first family holiday abroad in three years, delayed due to COVID. It worked ok in the garden on a few test runs but then failed on first contact with minor splashing, despite the battery compartments being clearly sealed. Will be returning for a refund.

Bought this for our holiday in Dalaman, we used it for photos at night also ringo rides, video’s/photos are great!!
