Stays on head, doesn't fall down during matches. It's easy to hear in and also easy to adjust. It's soft on the ears and does not pinch. My son who is a senior prefers this version over any other one out there. My son abuses head gear and his lasted more than one season. I recommend buying two so you break both of them in. One set finally got so cracked that refs wouldn't let him wrestle in them.

I bought two sets of this style of headgear for my sons, ages 4 and 6. Not much bigger than the youth version, the only real difference seems to be in the length of the straps. Once fitted correctly to the wrestler's head, they perform exceptionally well. This past season, both my sons wore their headgear for every practice and for over 50 combined matches. Never once did the headgear shift on their heads or slip off. And they still look as good as new.

My son likes them. Durable, good fit, more coverage/protection. Fyi tho... the lite gold is more yellowish (think Steelers black n gold) but it worked out better anyway.

This is the first headgear my son has worn and he loves it! Says it's very comfortable and allows him to hear while wrestling. Usually it's a battle to get protective gear on him, but he wears this to practice without being asked.

My 6 year old has an enormous head (orange on a toothpick), and this headgear formed right up to it. I've never adjusted headgear before, but this is very intuitive. I know he loves it, because he refused to take it off for the team picture (see attached). This product is also magic, because it even succeeded in making my wife happy.... even though she hates wrestling. What further endorsement do you need?

Bought head hear after an ear injury rolling BJJ. It fits snug and comfortable. Must importantly, it doesn't move that much while grappling. Hard to imagine that it would not move, so minimal is good.No signs of wear and tear after about 6 weeks of heavy use. I train 4 or 5 times a week.

Very good quality headgear. Well padded, doesn't get hot and allows wrestler to hear very well while wearing it; won't budge and won't come off during wrestling. Colors are accurate as described
