Have been trying lots of "bold & dark" coffee, sampler packs & could not find a good strong but not overwhelming coffee. The last sampler pack had this in it. I immediately noticed how dark the brew was. After trying it, was impressed. The absolute best so far. Not biting or bitter. I use creamers in my coffee and still get the taste the coffee in this one. Ordered and so far have not had problems with the grounds spilling over, nor the maker being unable to puncture the container. Absolutely the best so far, great price & fast shipping.

These little k-cups are seriously great. They have smooth rich flavor and like espresso and other dark coffee's, have little acid. Typically I can only drink a few cups a coffee a week, but I can enjoy these every day without any stomach problems. You can also brew a large cup and still get a strong flavor. Great product 10/10!

Edit to post: The taste of this coffee is very good! Still leaving the review from the first post but will bump it up in stars just for the taste alone.False advertisement. States purchase a box of 40 and only received 20. Would not have purchased if I knew there were only 20.

Says 40 are supposed to be received and we only received 20. Looked for a way to report but don't see where to do so. Guess we just won't purchase from this Seller again..... other than that this is our favorite flavor and brand.

I haven't had much luck finding K-Cups that don't produce a watered-down-tasting cup for me. This roast results in a full-bodied, robust cup that tastes like the "strong" coffee my family made. I haven't tested the "extra coffee" claim yet, but the proof for me is in the taste. This brand is also pesticide-free, fair trade, and tastes like a cup I would make with my old coffeepot. The easily recyclable cups sealed the deal!

I have been reordering this coffee for over a year now. I tried the sampler and liked this flavor hands down over the rest. I can get a little better tasting coffee if I want to make drip coffee - but if we are talking just K Cups, this is the best I have found and I happily drink it! I brew it on the largest size cup setting (my Keurig has 3 settings), add 3 ice cubes to cool it down and still have a strong cup of coffee. I also actually notice the caffeine from this coffee when I don't from other K Cups I've tried.

This coffee is my favorite and I've tried my fair share. I drink cream with my coffee therefore, I need a coffee that can stand against the cream. This coffee lives up to my expectations and it is not bitter.

Although the box claims these pods are compatible with the Keurig 2.0. I made a mess several times. For some reason the brewer does not pierce a hole in the bottom of the pod so the hot water goes in the top but cannot flow through so the pod explodes resulting in coffee grinds Everwhere!
