Rick Steves' Postcards from Europe: Travel Tales from America's Favorite Guidebook Writer

Rick gave me a lot of information...the one that you received from a friend who have travelling skills.A made a mistake, I should have bought The Best of Europe guide, because it was my first time in Europe so I wanted to visit the highlists, I did have time for backdoors...anyway... this guide helped me a lot to prepare my trip, organize and understand which transportation media to use, etc etc.

This is my third trip to Europe. I have used Rick's books both times before. I always get the newest one and read it cover to cover, underlining the parts that are most important to my trip planning. I've packed less each trip and enjoyed it more, seeing places I would have missed if I hadn't read his books. Why not listen to the voice of so much experience?!

An excellent resource.Rick Steves has finished setting up his publishing business and is back on the beat scoping out Europe for you. [BRAVO!]Combine this book with: Party Europe, Second Edition (Now This Is Life) and give them a read BEFORE your departure and you will be doing yourself and your travel party a great service.One caveat: the Party Europe book does not cover areas outside the most popular tourist destinations [but by inference it does provide what one may want to look for in those locales].

This book was also helpful but not nearly as much so as the Accessability book in my situation, great boo kfor the average person looking at a trip to Europe.
