ELEGOO2PCS Metal Resin Tank Mars 3 Series 3D Printer Accessories,FEP Pre-Installed, with Lid, Resin Vat Mars 3 and Mars 3 Pro

Bought as replacement for original tank due to wear and tear and very happy with it, getting two as well was a bonus. I opted for the plastic as getting a new printer with bigger print bed I didn’t want to shell out to much on this one, only the be shocked at how good the quality of these were. Highly recommended

Great product - been using an elegoo mars pro for nearly 4yrs now and replace the vat every 2months (x many prints) and have never had any leaks or failures form this product.Highly recommend for anyone using same size vats

Firstly, these work for both the mars and mars pro. I believe they will also fit some other printers but cant confirm that.Unlike alot of other reviewers mine did come with the fep pre-attached, saving alot of time (remember to remove the fep protector from the bottom of the fep before use). I can only assume they have changed to pre-install the fep or other reviewers maybe got third party ones sold under the same item code, check the item is sold by the official elgeoo store.The photos show the new resin vats in the top, compared to the original mars pro vat and the original plastic vats.These metal ones are very solid, but have no max marking and overall seem hold a little less (the sides are vertical not sloped so you loose a little capacity).Overall very happy to have two good quality spares.

Expected both to be Red, but they sent me one Red and one Orange! Doesn't matter as they perform great and have the FEP preinstalled, but it shows the quality control isn't as great as it should be, that's why I gave 4 stars

Just like the tank the mars 3 ships with. FEP is installed and tensioned and each one has a cover. The shipping box has foam inserts that immobilise the tanks so it makes a good storage solution.

I had issues with the tank that came with my printer and nothing should adhere to it.I bought these tanks and have have successfully printed hundreds of items.I ordered additional ones to store different colour resins in as they come with a black snap on cover. This allows me to switch over to a different colour much faster without needing to clean up the tank.Having the ability to do this makes it easier for beginners as there's less clean up/mess.

Very useful to swap resins

The two plastic tanks in this package are the correct size for the Elegoo Mars 2 Pro SLA Printer. As they have close fitting lids they could also be used for different colour resins. I use the Elegoo water washable Grey type resin so if I wanted to use a different colour resin or an IPA washable resin, then I could use one of these tanks for that.A FEP sheet can get damaged if bits of support material break off a model and then get pressed into the FEP by the descending build plate. If that happens, replacing the FEP is a time consuming affair. Having a spare tank can save a lot of time.I do not know if these tanks will fit any other printer - I have only tried them on the Elegoo Mars 2 Pro.
