Cat likes it, but hard to clean and less effective than Furminator
Good product, but not nearly as effective as a Furminator or other like tool (I actually have a Chippy deshedding tool that's fantastic). Still, if your pet doesn't like being brushed, this is definitely better than nothing. I like that it has straps on the inside, which make it easy to use on both sides. I can't find a great way to get the hair off it, especially if I use this frequently and don't produce enough for a sheet of hair. My cat likes this better than a Furminator, but it doesn't produce the same results.

My dog did not like the smell
My 1 year old Australian Shepherd is normally super chill and loved to be brushed especially with brushes that feel like a massage so I was surprised when he didn't seem to like this massage glove. He would be laying down and when I would start brushing him with this glove he would have to get up and smell it then he would leave the area. I have another brushing glove with small pins and he doesn't mind at all when I use that on him and his favorite type of brush is a small boar's hair bristle brush that give a soft massage feel.I think something about the way it smelled, either when it was made or stored for distribution is still on the glove and he doesn't like it.Aside from that the construction is durable and the glove fits well. I would recommend this for dogs with shorter hair for bristled hair instead of a furry of fluffy dog because the silicone bristles or bumps are quite short. I plan on giving it to my parents for their bulldog.★ I received this item for a discount in exchange for my honest unbiased review. Love it!
My dog has very short hair and has never warranted brushing, so I never really got in the full habit of it. I have done it a bit here and there over the years with products that at least look similar to this mitt, but this is definitely my favorite product to brush my dog’s short hair I’ve used so far and has become a much more regular activity!Long story short, I was reading about the health benefits of brushing for a dog’s coat, even if the dog has short hair. I have a ridgeback mix and her hair gets so thin that she barely has any on her tummy. Even so, I was reading about how brushing helps with more than the obvious, in ways that helps all dogs. Probably most important (at least to my dog) is the feeling of massage, but it also helps remove debris from the skin and in the hair as well as distributing oil from the skin throughout the coat, which spreads out the conditioning and softening effect... etc.Anyway, I gave this mitt a shot and I’m really glad that I did, I’m confident that I’ll likely never need another one. I love that the mitt is large, especially since my dog is so large, and that helps me cover a larger area – mostly just preferable to my dog but also keeps the sensation to be a ticklish one, which she has had from other smaller brushes. She really loves the thing and that’s what it’s really all about. It’s also nice for me to use though because of the Velcro strap. I have quite small hands and it’s much easier to use this large version of a hand when it isn’t falling off! It’s nice to not need to have a grip on a rubbery, flat brush while using it, it’s much more effectual and fun for the both of us. Lastly, the back of the mitt is a kind of netted material which is nice and soft to the skin but reduces any heat or condensation that might otherwise backup when the Velcro is tightened around your wrist.Overall I think this mitt is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone with a large breed, short hair dog. It’s really become another game/excuse to love on my pup and she definitely enjoys it – plus I’ve noticed a difference in her fur!Full disclosure: I bought this at a discounted price in exchange for posting an honest review. I rely very heavily on customer reviews when I shop (especially on amazon) and I only contribute to this community with the utmost integrity. I judge the product based on the full price at which it’s offered and would never accept anything in return for being more favorable in a review than a product deserved. I am often very enthusiastic, which is just my personality (I have been told that my recommendations sound like commercials), but I also won’t hesitate to identify difficulties, downsides, or tell you if I just flat out didn’t like something. Soft glove-brush, perfect for a little pet who doesn't like brushing
My cat sheds lots of hair all year round and likes to bath herself all the time, so much, that she developed serious hairball problem lately. We tried various types of hair removing tools for her : wooden base brush with natural bristles or a thin metal comb, but she doesn't seem to like any of those very much. Her patience is enough for a minute or two until she gets annoyed and runs away. Brushing has never been her favorite activity. She is a little cat, only 7Lbs, so I think that hard brushes feel stiff on her bones. So I wanted to find other solution to help her get rid of her hair, which she could withstand and possibly even enjoy. This Glove-Brush is made of silicon, it is soft and big enough to sway through the left or right side of cat's body in one move, and the cat won't even notice that you are actually brushing out her hair. It is very gentle for her and, in fact, she becomes more playful when I use the glove. However, softness came in with little downside, glove won't remove nearly half the hair, that regular bristle brush will. And it takes many repetitive moves to pick up those loose hairs.Opposite side of the glove covered with plush-like silver material, which I use to pick up hairs from the fabric furniture and chair cushions.Overall, it is a good option for helping your pet with brushing his hair if your pet doesn't like this process, or if he is sensitive to hard-type of brushes. I would definitely recommend it.I received a discount from the seller in exchange for writing an honest review, and hope, you find it helpful.
