The media could not be loaded.  This gets a 5 star from me because it's made me a return customer. To apply, pressure wise, it's more like a lipstick than a chapstick so do not press hard. I thought I would have problems with this because I have a nerve condition and my fingers do not allow me full control of pressure and occasionally shake when I apply things, but this has not been too weak/ delicate for that. If a child is using it, they'll probably break it because children are rough with things sometimes. The strawberry is a cute light-mid magenta pink depending on tone, but it will show. It seems like a lip stain kinda thing when a lot of the color is applied, but not as strong (I started buying stain after going to South Korea where it was popular. If you've not used lip stain, just don't let it get super dry, once your lips start getting dry, it looks like you were just drinking kool-aid, this is specific because kool-aid sticks a bit to the point that ppl used to play with it to add color to their hair). I would just not apply this to super cracked dry lips, just lick and dry then apply. It's not like Petroleum jelly/ hydrophor but it works quicker than a normal chapstick as far as getting to that somewhat wet look. They smell cute, I keep the strawberry in my purse, and the vanilla next to my bed and use both throughout the day (3 months of use on both so far) depending on what I'm doing. I do get skin irritation to some things but this is not one of those things. I can't stress enough that the price for 3 of these is pretty solid for any chapstick/ gloss, and these are vegan which generally brings the price up a bit on... everything. Anyways, I just love buying chapstick and this made it into my #1 spot for all these reasons but on top of that, they are cute and smell really pretty. My bf generally hates the smells that come with different products when we kiss but he said this was at least not unpleasant or sticky at all, I test that right away as it's an important part of the decision making process. I don't think anyone will absolutely hate it but it's not the softest, glossiest, longest lasting, or tastiest (I personally do not look for taste in products but there's nothing that stands out which is good, tastes like Vaseline to me) , but it's still good in all these areas, and I'm okay with a jack of all trades but master of none situation. To be fair, there's almost no manufactured/ high processed item that I'd say that about, I'm always looking at ingredients, but it's a pretty good product. Bought these for my niece as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. She is hitting her preteen years and getting really good at her makeup and has recently been really interesting in the ph "color changing" lip balms that she kept seeing online.A lot of them are quite expensive because of how hyped up they are right now (which makes me giggle given I remember when they were hyped up back in like 2008 when I was in high school lol) and I was not going to spend $20+ on 1 lip balm for her when I know there's a decent chance she will lose it at some point before using it all lol.I found these pretty last minute and ordered them immediately - thinking that if they weren't that fabulous or she didn't like them, I would just return them. When she opened them up (I had put them in a little tin with a couple other items) she bounced around insanely excited and said "you *actually got* them??" which was a surprise to her mother and I until she explained that apparently one of the popular brands of them had been sold out for weeks and no one could get them on time for Christmas delivery. I felt very proud of my impulse purchase at that moment lol.She loves them, and wears them constantly - the pink one is her favorite and does have the most color payoff on her. She likes the way they all smell, although she did say that the orange one I believe wasn't as pleasant as the other 2. They are actually quite moisturizing also - so it worked out nicely as a winter present because it is keeping her from having chapped lips this cold season.I think they are a great deal for a cute addition to a present and would definitely buy them again for that purchase given they do what they are marketed to do, and last a decent amount of time, and are well priced - plus the packaging is admittedly very adorable. And they also seem like a great buy for a quick lip balm to keep in a purse for when you need moisturizing but also maybe want a touch of color without dealing with a lipstick.

This was an overall good purchase. All three lip balms were creamy and really hydrating. My personal favorite was the green lip balm because the color change was lighter which went well with the darker shade of my lips. Next was the orange lip balm, and last the pink. Green was highly pigmented, came through as almost a strong, hot pink - not my personal favorite so rocking 1 star off.

I loved this lip balm! I have been a long-time user of Chapstick Total Hydration Rose Petal Tinted Balm, and was looking for something fun and new. This was it! My shipment arrived late this afternoon and I tested out the strawberry scented one. The color turned pink and easily built up with additional applications. There was barely any scent, no taste, and it went on thin and glossy - much thinner texture than my usual Chapstick. There was a bit of shimmer to it, also, and it was very moisturizing!I went to dinner and reapplied as I normally would, and I found that even though the gloss/moisture wore off with regular wear, my lips were still stained. The stain lasted all night!My lips are naturally really pale and the same color as my skin, so I need some kind of color so people don’t ask if I’m tired or sick. This lippie did the trick, way better than my trusty tinted Chapstick! The picture I posted was from the end of the night after dinner, drinks, and brushing my teeth. Still pink!! I will buy this again and again and again!!

Leaves a bitter taste on lips

The stain colour is hot pink for all 3 which i was not expecting, I thought each would be different. Not a big deal, but oh my gosh my lips got so uncomfortably dry. The kind of dry where you can feel it on the inside of your lip and feels like it's burning. Super disappointed because they're so cute but I really cannot recommend. Do not buy, save your money!

Won't lie, I bought these for aesthetic. But it's been great keeping lips moisturized. Very lightweight formula. Amazing scents.
