Unexpectedly thick cream, good for babies
As a grown-up I’m currently using Sanex Zero as my regular body wash, and I was expecting this to be something similar for the kids, but it’s actually quite different. It is surprisingly thick, more like a moisturiser than a body wash, and it spurts out of the bottle in small, thin, narrow lumps of a bright white cream. That cream then doesn’t lather very much like a liquid soap would- there are no bubbles. Instead it sits on the skin more like an old-age skin cream, leaving a thin white residue which washes off as the bathtime continues- though in a bath, a lingering murkiness can still be seen in the water. For very young kids and babies who can’t really wash themselves, it’s fairly handy and the fact that only small dollops are needed is fine. For kids with problem skin, I’m sure it would be excellent. However for slightly older kids who do more of it themselves, it is a little bit less convenient- and certainly not as fun for the kids as the other, smellier alternatives. It is still an “avoid contact with eyes” product as well, so it doesn’t help as much with the soap-in-the-eyes trauma as some parents might wish for.Undoubtedly good for sensitive babies, this product should be labelled as “for babies” rather than “for kids” to make it a little clearer.

Thick and non greasy
This is such a large bottle of lotion at 500ml, it is going to last forever and really helps keeps skin moisturised. The cream is thick and creamy, a little goes along way so start with a small amount and you can always add more rather than waste.Although it is a thick cream it dries to the skin almost instantly, meaning you can dress within minutes. It states that it has 0% perfume or colour so shouldn't irritate already sensitive skin. It is organic but with this also comes a higher price.I tried it on my arm, it took a little while to rub in, I think I used a bit too much first time. It did absorb quickly without feeling greasy or oily, my skin didn't feel overly soft at the time but after a few hours my skin felt soft and nourished.A great addition to my bathroom and states it is also suitable for babies skin.

Nice body lotion product (but be aware it contains aloe vera in case you're allergic)
Picked this up because I have sensitive skin so need to use body lotions that won't aggravate it. This does contain aloe vera so if you're allergic to that, then this is not for you, but it doesn't contain any perfumes or colouring and because it's formulated for babies (and certified as being asthma friendly), it should be kinder to the skin. It's designed to be used daily and comes in a 500ml bottle, which is a good size. You don't need a lot of the product at all as it's very thick but it is absorbed very quickly and doesn't feel too greasy afterwards. I did feel that my skin was softer after using it for a couple of weeks and although it does cost ÂŁ10.94 at the time of review, it does represent good value for what it is.

OK for hands - not for large areas
I tried this on my hands to begin with - it spread thinly, has no underlying odour, and felt fine. Then I tried it on my legs, as I was going out, and always wear shorts. This was not a pleasant experience: the skin felt tight, and then started to itch - the cream dries too quickly, which seems to cause these effects. The itching stopped after a few minutes (and didn't return), and there were no further sensations, pleasant or unpleasant, but I shan't use this again except on my hands - I'll stick with my present hydration gel for use elsewhere. The ingredients list is very short, and consists mainly of the usual suspects, but a few are not typical, so one of those may have caused my discomfort.
