Salt Skill Himalayan Salt Lamp

i am enjoying my lamp. after a slight problem with the delivery, tiger dive made all attempts to get my lamp sent to me. since then, i have had the lamp on every night. it sends out a nice orange glow and i can tell the difference with my breathing!! i have 4 pets in the house, so there are lots of dander around. this lamp is perfect as a night light too. when we leave for the evening, as we return home, the glow gives us a welcome home feeling. the size is perfect; my lamp is between 7 -8 ins in height and about 5-6 in width. i am so happy with my lamp and the customer service with tiger dive. please consider making a purchase with this company..you will not regret it. as of now, i am looking for a smaller one for the bedroom.

I ordered three lamps. They were individually wrapped in separate boxes within one big package. No cracks or damage found. Bulbs and cords came as well. There were not any setup instructions so I had to figure it out myself. Not hard to do at all. The bases are attached and there are curved divots in the bottom. You screw the bulb into the cord and stick it up inside the lamp. Set it down making sure the cord is underneath one of the divots so it will sit flush on the surface. Plug in and turn on. Mine look nice with an orange glow. Each lamp was approximately seven pounds as stated by the seller. Delivery was prompt.

I can't really speak to the air quality difference as I'm in the mountains near the west coast so air quality isn't too bad to begin with. I can say that it is a very beautiful light with many shades and 'characters' due to the rough surface and inherent imperfections of ancient salt deposits. I haven't tried aromatherapy oils on it but I can say that mine at least does not seem to get any heat when placing my hand either on the top or sides so I doubt much diffusion into the air would occur. Perhaps a smaller unit would exhibit more heat and be more suited for aromatherapy.A surprise for me was a plastic baggie filled with what I can only assume was the salt that was hollowed out to allow the light to be placed in the base. The package lists nutritional facts so either I'm wrong in this assumption or they used sterilized tools for the removal.

I don't usually do reviews but i do not have the patience for returns so i figured i would keep the salt rock and write a review warning people instead. Its not that it isn't a nice one its just this company uses false advertisement. I weighed the rock and it is just under 5 pounds coming in at 4.8... even though they advertise it to be 7-11 pounds. Also its very clear barley any orange color. I was a bit disappointed and i would never buy from them again. Next time i will make a search for Orange color salt rocks bc those deeper oranges are important to me. Don't waste your money on this company.. its 10.97 but the shipping its 19.99. in total 30$ def not worth it. Hope this helps- I love salt rocks and own 3 different ones, so in all i give it 2 stars. love and light :)

One crystal lamp is nearly clear without striation or color and required a colored bulb for the effect that I desire. The other crystal lamp has nice straitions with some color, but is also to pale for my taste and lacks much color. For first time buyers, I would suggest larger lamps if you desire more orange color. The thicker and denser the crystal, the more color that seems to be present. The two lamps received are colorless compared to photos shown in advertisement.

I love this. I have had it for a while. I love the way the light is a relaxing glow. It also makes a wonderful night light for my living room. Especially when the grand kids are over. They can still see well enough through out the night, yet it is plenty dim enough so as to not interrupt their sleep. I leave it on all of the time. I have had it for a few years, and only recently had to change the light bulb. It is great.

Purchased 9/14/13, a month later there is considerable aging of the salt. The negative ion affect is very important to me. I think this product is very old and was sitting in an inclement storage environment for WAY TOO LONG! It's ironic that I purchased this for my severe reactions to allergens only to have such a toxic time bomb delivered instead. Once I got rid of the packaging, thoroughly cleaned the lamp and lubricated the rusted screws with WD-40 I began my 3 day cycle of flu-like symptoms. I have Fibromyalgia, many won't understand how vehement my reaction to this is. However, these salt lamps have a life cycle. I believe this one was compromised by the long and unsterile way it was stored. Heat and cold affect the life cycle of this lamp. The lamp is soothing yet not orange at all.

When this arrived I was kind of scared seeing the package, it was wet and old looking.. but once I opened it and looked at it.. It is perfect.. My husband had it plugged in to warm it up for when I got home from work, when I walked in it was amazing looking, glowing that soft redish glow and the size it was perfect for the amount.. Shipping is alittle expensive but the product is great, def buying another one for upstairs.. I would ef recomend this product for anyone.. I've had it one day so far and can tell the difference in the air..
