Excellent matcha option.
I've wanted to cook with matcha for a while now. I'm glad I ordered this. I've done a lot of research to prepare for my kitchen experiments with matcha. I learned that green tea powder and matcha are NOT the same. If you are looking for the power used for Japanese tea ceremonies, matcha is what you want. There is a lot of confusion about the different types of matcha, but in the United States (possibly everywhere outside of Japan) Ceremonial grade is the best, so this is what you want!I really liked the idea of using matcha for desserts. The first recipe I tried was Matcha White Hot Chocolate Recipe from Oh How Civilized. The recipe was the simplest of the ones that I found online, and was a perfect recipe to start with. The matcha lent a nice light flavor to the drink, kind of grassy, but not so much that you would think "MATCHA!!!!". I put a fair amount in (a tablespoon) and it wasn't overwhelming, which is a plus in my book. Usually I avoid green tea because it tastes like seaweed. This is really lovely and not overwhelming.I have a number of other recipes to try, including matcha truffles (same blog if you're interested) and I can't wait to do amazing things with this fabulous matcha powder.

Wonderful stuff
My youngest daughter is a barista, which is where how originally discovered matcha. She has been a green tea drinker for a long time, but when she tried matcha for the first time, she was hooked. This little container of ceremonial grade, organic matcha literally had her jumping up and down when I gave it to her. She was so excited that she had to mix her favorite drink, a soy milk-matcha-agave combination, right then. Since my daughter is the matcha expert in our house, I am passing along her description. She calls this pretty green powder exceptional.

Finally a non bitter authentic matcha easy to make!
Finally found an authentic matcha 🍵 ! I'm a big matcha lover because I've been trying not to drink too much coffee for the last few months. I've literally tried tons of matcha teas and my friends mom who's actually Japanese, makes the best matchas, so it was really hard to find a good one I could easily and quickly make and consume either hot or cold (I prefer hot and with a little bit of hemp milk and stevia - you have to try this). This is super fast and easy and I just bring it with me to work. It Actually gives me as much energy as coffee and it's better for my hormones and apparently green tea matcha is an anti aging secret. I'll definitely be buying this again - it's so much less bitter, but still has that authentic matcha taste (trust me l've tried it all) but tastes much smoother but yet very flavorful. I definitely like drinking it hot, but I've gotten some of my friends into it and they love it cold and with a little bit of ice and coconut milk. I'm not a coconut milk fan, so I'll stay with my hot Version with hemp or regular milk, but they apparently swear by it. Either way you will love this!!

This pleasant little tin of matcha powder is a great addition to my kitchen
This pleasant little tin of matcha powder is a great addition to my kitchen. I have bought matcha loose in bulk before, but this container has a nice amount (comes in a small air-tight bag insight the tin, as well), is on par with any other matcha I've ever bought, and a little goes a long way. The lid screws on, too, so you can help ensure a tight seal. If I could change one thing, it would just be to have some better information on the label of the container for how to use it, instead of suggesting you visit a website. (a simple mention of how much to use in a cup of tea or milk.... 1 tsp? 1 tbsp? etc) would be very helpful. But, the quality if the matcha is equal to all other that I have tried, so this is a nice product.

Two out of three of us LOVED the flavor and one wasn’t quite sure about it
I’ll start by saying, I don’t know too much about matcha tea, except that I’m seeing it everywhere recently! My teenager adores all things tea, so I grabbed this for him to try. The included directions were very helpful in preparing our first batch. We tried it as straight tea and also as a sort of latte with a little honey and frothed milk. Two out of three of us LOVED the flavor and one wasn’t quite sure about it, but that was definitely just a matter of taste. Lovely vibrant color and wonderful flavor and scent.

exquisite
I tried some Matcha from here a couple of years ago - two large bags- and it was awful! I gave it away, apologetically asking my friend, "Are you sure you want it? It tastes like fish!" Since that experience, I concluded that Matcha wasn't my thing until I studied how to shop for Matcha. I am so glad I gave it another try! The previous purchase was culinary grade. This one is ceremonial grade. What a difference!

Superior match green tea!
This is a beautiful, mild green tea! I have served it to company, and they also really enjoyed it! Just as important to me are the amazing health benefits, and I appreciate the fact that it's organically grown. Can't wait to try some of the wonderful recipes that arrived in my email inbox when I received the tea. So far, it's delicious with a little honey and lemon or even just by itself with nothing added. I highly recommend this product and will definitely buy it again!

Fantastic Quality Great Price
I have tried many ceremonial grade matcha. It's amazing the difference in look and taste, so a lot is personal preference I suppose. This is my favorite. Many can be very expensive but for what I'm looking for, this tastes like I expect it to with a bright green fresh look and smell. And at a price I can afford. Well done.
