GFMPashmina Style Wrap Scarf - All Seasons - Twill Weave Soft - B9

Okay, I'm not what you'd call "fashionable". Buying clothes is as tedious a chore as choosing the "best buy" between the various large multipacks of loo rolls at the supermarket (unless the population has another panic and total misunderstanding about which end of the body flu-like viruses tend to make more of a mess of, in which case, it's Hobson's choice. There's a lot to be said for that, honestly. It saves a ton of time!). In fact, I can't think of anything I'd rather do less than shop for clothes and general groceries. Water torture, maybe? Never tried it so I can't be sure.Any road, I have two adult daughters and a recent acquisition (I don't want to be one of *those* mothers-in-law, so I treat her the same as my other daughters :) [she's a darling. She chose my son, so that's one less to come home!]).However, I *do* have one weakness when it comes to clothing, and that's shawls & scarves. When I saw these in such beautiful colours, I bought three: fuschia, purple and light blue (the latter for my D-i-L. It looks like it matches the ribbon in her wedding dress, and due to them not being able to have a "proper" wedding, they are having a big party next summer. Hopefully. And I know that colour is part of her plans so I am *really* hoping it will match as the party will be outside near the sea!)On getting them I found that the colours are really close to those on the screen of my phone, which to be fair is nothing short of a miracle. They look and felt so gorgeous that I bought myself the indigo one! It's true, there is a hint of purple in some lights, and it's great. Works really well. I'm currently wearing it to keep my arthritic neck warm without overdressing in a heated house, and it's doing it without overheating me (I feel the heat *really* quickly, so this is no mean feat!). It's so soft I am even reluctant to take it off at night! Only the potential for strangling myself accidentally forces my hand.Anyway, I was just thinking that I should get a couple more presents for my own Ma-in-Law, because she wasn't doing very well this year, so amongst a few other practical and gag gifts (at 87 she's still got a great SoH!) she's getting the duck egg blue one :) It should go really well with her tendency to wear slightly-deeper than pastel colours. If she doesn't like it, I'll get her to pick another one and keep it myself!Edit: she loved it! And the blue one for my DiL matches the sash perfectly! I can't believe it, I'm a popular daughter-in-law *and* mother-in-law by getting the same thing!

The scarf is the shade of pink I was looking for, it's comfortable and attractive, and is a decent size. It's a bit annoying that neither it nor the packaging carried a care label, so I'm unsure what fabric it is or whether it can be washed. When the time comes, I'll probably give it a cautious hand-wash with Stergene or something similar.

Love this soft Pashmina style wrap that arrived in good time and just what I was looking for. The colour I chose is Champgne and looks great, just as advertised so there were no surprises!

So soft, perfect size and colour is stunning and vibrant. Beautiful sheen from the material. Friends could not believe how cheap it was as quality is amazing. Will be buying more colours.

Used as a cover up for a wedding as we knew the evening was going to be a little cooler and this was perfect, easy enough to carry around all day and kept the chill off at night.

Ordered blue, received purple - either in error or colour misdescribed. The material was too thin for my needs so returned.
